I miss the Intro....

Conspiracy theory. What is in the missing portion they want us to forget?? :funny:

They wanted to squeeze 45 seconds of advertising money or they really need the extra 45 seconds for something.

Well they didn't add it to the actual episode, so it's just 30 seconds more commercial time.

My thoughts: I think the TAR production crew are blatantly making this season seem like the worst one yet since they are still cold and bitter like Luke in the preview for the next Roadblock after not being nominated for an Emmy for TAR22.

Mark and Mallory just were not good together as a team. I think communication was a big problem. Maybe both (or too much) talking and no one listening. Mallory was in charge of the backpacks, she failed to make sure Mark knew when she dropped it. He was in charge of securing a car in a taxi.
She was awfully defensive, I think she would have insisted on going back for her backpack despite what she said. I wish the cowboys had given them the express pass.

:funny: This season is comical on so  many levels.  Luke is acting like a spoiled child. Flight Time. Big Easy are trying to provide comic relief, but even they are "bored". J/C are messing up some tasks, Country Girls are "getting by" with little to no effort. At least Brenchel are interesting to watch. If they are eliminated before the end, it will be a very disappointing finale IMO

Any animated gif of Brenchel's Survivor Detour montage? :funny:

Well, at first I also thought so, but Mallory mentioned in a couple of interviews that when she raced with her dad, they had already decided that a lost backpack would be left behind in case that ever happened, so they could race on. And that was also why Gary & Mallory always kept all of their necessary stuff (medicine, passports etc.) in one backpack, so they would have less of a chance to lose those.
... and they never had the time to talk such things with Mark :/

Well they did have that long 14 hours or so flight so they could have talked then, or they could have done so partially during the pit stop of Leg 1, so they did have some time.

They could have spent some of that time strategizing in one room and spend the rest sleeping in a seperate room.

They had 12 hours  .. They didn't need to share a room.
They could have spent even just 1 hour of that time discussing strategies.
It was a foolish mistake on their behalf which cost them so it's their own faults.

The sad truth about putting them together as a team for The Amazing Race. :(

Hopefully this will make CBS realise hybrid teams are a BAD idea.  :res:

Actually, it depends, not all hybrid teams are bad. As long as they know each other, it's fine for me.
Mark & Mallory didn't even know each other when the latter was called to the race for subbing Bopper. :(

Hey, the last hybrid team for All-Stars won the race! (Although they were one of the most hated winners ever).

And that really proves Platrium's point: as long as those hybrid teams know each other pretty well pre-race and at least prepare for the race (not like the last minute decision we had this time), it's really OK and even more entertaining to watch!

I just don't like the idea of hybrid teams. Maybe I'm just being biased as I really disliked Eric & Danielle.
I was looking forward to seeing Mark & Mallory and it turned out horrible, maybe had they spent time to get to know each other before the race it would have been different, but my experience of watching hybrids hasn't been good so I wouldn't be at all annoyed if it never happened again.

They had more than 12 hours...

Which is even worse because they had even more time to spend together and discuss strategies.  :groan:

Unless CBS plan on doing similar 30 minute interviews with all the remaining teams, I think we have our winners  :wohoo: :conf:

No.

I agree. That would just be awful. It would essentially make me vow not to ever watch any "all-star" season of ANYTHING EVER again! :tantrum

Caroline and Jennifer SHOULD. NOT. WIN. UGH.
They shouldn't have even BEEN in All-Stars!

To the quote just above this: I agree by 200%. If they win, it's going to be the worst season (for me) that I can remember.
First was the cast, then the locations, and sometimes most tasks. I just hope those two don't win.

The only hybrid team I'd ever want to see is Clark and Molly (Alenaveda's ARG 2)
