OHHH Now I see the Angklung task lol  :cheer:
Well, if you can't figure out how to play it, it'll be hard to sort it... It's kinda interesting that people who never touch/play angklung before, never figure out how to play it, and must sort it...
And yes Nicole seems very frustrated  :groan:

So there is no the other detour at Pasar Simpang?
I didn't see them doing the detour :'(

in several caps in the roadblock place, I haven't seen Ally and Ashley.
Does this mean they left the RB first????  :ascared

Looks like Leo and Tim finished the RB before Amy and Nicole...
No,Stupid Blondies obviously didn't arrived there yet and are last because they are too horrible to get a better position than second to last.

There are three different confessional locations  :stare

Travis/Nicole somewhere library (book racks)
Afghanimals (I believe one in the cottage/villa, another one looks like a hill/mountain background)

keep in mind that producers stick confessionals from different legs into an episode

Yeah, I think about that too.. especially Afghanimals confession. I think one is from Bosscha, and the other on the next leg? (where there is a pedicab?)

Based on the preview, I can assumed that the Roadblock included arranging the Angklungs based on their notes (C-C'), because one Angklung has only one sound and the wooden rack is a typical rack for arranging Angklung that way.

I said it because I was an Angklung player when I'm in the junior high  ;):-[

oh... and playing Angklung isn't as easy as it looks   :funny:

The Roadblock seems really interesting!!!!
they have to build some sort of musical instrument?

I am looking forward to this particular one !!!!  :) :):)

I'm Indonesian but I don't even know how Angklung is played.. can't imagine if I need to build one. Looking forward to seeing this leg, the Roadblock especially.

I'm an Indonesian too, i spent my highschool joining the Traditional Ensemble team, though i never was the Angklung player, but i thought we can arrange it just by looking at the size?? from small-big?? so it should not be that hard...or is it?

I once visited Saung Angklung Udjo back in Elementary School during a field trip lol

this should be one of the most interesting Roadblock in Indonesia besides couting Buddha statue in Season 19 which is in my opinion VERY VERY HARD. I don't even study that in History during high school lol
I'am now and forever post-love

It's not always that way. Low notes angklung are sometimes smaller than the high notes ones.

Maybe it's in the observatory itself. I remember when I visited it years ago, when we're entering the observatory there was a hallway full of books and posters of astronomical things.

There's a timeline including details of all the task in the first page of this thread.

And you can always go to the Sightings thread and check the outstanding job of our team on the ground.

Are they? I believe they took marked taxis all day. Maybe it's like Dhaka's train being used on TAR21's footage.

Edited: yeah, you might be right. I saw they're using different taxis to the pit stop. You saw them at Bandung Station too?

Bandung was extensively spoiled by our friends there on the ground. You can read all about it in the LIVE thread starting here:

actually on July 26th (one month after Bandung leg was filmed), i flew to Bandung and visited Saung Angklung Udjo (SAU), watching the angklung performance.  i was hypnotized by the kids ( the angklung performers) and forgot my main purpose: asking information about the roadblock  :groan: :groan: :tantrum :tantrum :tantrum
based on Bandung teams (although they weren't sure because they couldn't enter the stage), racer must arrange the angklung from C to C'. and if we see the press pics from CBS, they were right  :)
here are some pics that i took from the stage (sorry for bad quality)

The first picture (with Tim & Marie) looks to me to be at the Saung Angklung Udjo.
The vegetation (bamboo and palms) match.

Could the "Active Route Marker" be a Detour option that everyone chose and completed similar to TAR 19 Belgium 1? o.O

No. The Bandung team has told us that the Detour is between carrying watermelon and washing elephant
