The race usually takes 20-25 days these days... so if it starts tomorrow...  :stare

They will have enough time for Phil to be back to attend after finale talk shows etc as well.

Plus give us a REALLY good preview *hopefully*

For what it's worth, earlier today someone tweeted Phil to ask how long it takes to film a season and Phil's reply was

#12Shows21Days :)

It's a lil' longer than 21 days sometimes. :umn:

Yeah, it is longer sometimes. 21 days is about the lower limit for how fast they can run the race. However, Phil would be in a position to know what is planned for TAR 24 and when asked a general question, he said 21 days. I'd say that's worth keeping in mind as the race progresses.

Yup, I remembered when they shortened it to 12 legs in TAR 12, they took 21 or 22 days to film. So that is why I say a good gauge will be between 20 to 25 days, plus or minus a few days.

Ryan and Abbie... most likely won't be on. Sigh. :'(
Jaymes and James are uncertain too... what? Jaymes seemed to be doing a show? Anyone can confirm that.
Max and Katie are... unlikely due to twitter feeds suggestion.

Most likely:
1. Leo and Jamal
2. Joey and Meghan (still madly active LOL)
3. Nadiya and Natalie (twitter last active 12 nov)
4. Caroline and Jennifer (twitter last active 11/12 nov)
5. Brendon and Rachel
6. Mark and Bopper (twitter last active 9 nov)

Nicky and Kim used to tweet everyday and now they have been missing 2/3 days already. :stare

What are some other teams choice?

Dave and Connor --> Connor last active 4 oct

If they are doing a UB theme again, has anyone thought the possibility that Jessica & John might be one of the teams? Who can have more unfinnished business than the team eliminated with a EP in hand?
I hope this won't happen because I never really liked them.

John has been inactive the whole of November on twitter.

Jessica hasn't always been active but no post since Sept. Not a good gauge.

I'm worried about UB 2 because that means maybe Chester and Ephraim gets a shot again? -_- #speculation #hopenot

I'm actually kinda excited because if they don't have enough teams to make eleven. Does that mean we will probably see pre-UB racers? #please

It's 5am now in the US (depending on which timezone), and I think things will go crazy in about 4 to 6 hours time, lol.

Oh yeah, I love Jessica & John!  :hearts:

Chester & Ephraim... these guys are ok, but they aren't one of my favorite teams... Hope not.

What is for you an UB team? For me are all who couldn't win, because they can't win, and this is their objective. I think, for you, an UB team they're only strong teams who can't win...
I see Amy & Daniel perfect for an UB season, or All Stars, and they are not so strong in his season. The bad thing? Amy has tweeted today they go to Europe for a World Cup (I think snowboard or something like this).

It seems Trey has cancelled his account. And Lexi has tweeted on 12 November. I love this couple... Now they are married. Please! :(

Please no J&J or Footballers  :res:

I've a feeling there may be a few surprise teams. There has been about 5 all ff teams been thrown round: Twinnies, Pwinnie, Country singers, Mallory +1 and now BB wives. I can't see any more than 3, unless we have 12 teams!  :umn:

Can't wait  :hearts:

I wouldn't expect Chester and Ephraim for TAR24. They've been pretty active, and while that's not an automatic assumption of lack of participation, they're pretty conflicted.  Sure they're retired, but with the latter having a significant role on Fox Sports Live (which started after TAR23 was taping), it probably isn't the Houston guys.  That does suck, as I expected them to return (but for TAR26 had that been a return of racers season). Maybe they'll get another shot in a couple years for TAR28.

Jessica & John I actually do not mind. Which also means I wouldn't mind if they didn't get cast this time.  It'll probably be someone no one cares about, to the point where it wasn't even worth mentioning.  Liz & Marie, Laurence & Zac, and Art & JJ would make the best sense, but per Asia's hit song, Only Time Will Tell!

Winning isn't everything, but it isn't considered nothing either. Otherwise, there wouldn't be a tribal council, a pit-stop, a boardroom, dimming of the lights, and so on

I completely forgot about Laurence and Zac, they might have a shot... but we already have Dave and Connor.

Time will tell... in less than 6 hours hopefully! :yess: :funny:
