Based on what the Polish girl told me, I am guessing that the Polish leg is the 5th one because she said there were 8 things for the "statue" task and she mentioned somebody was talking about a U-Turn. I am guessing there is one non-elimination before that, and then 8 teams continue in Poland. That's just my speculation.

Poland and Portugal have been overdue so maybe a lot of this route will be returning to countries that we haven't seen in a while. Pure spec but I'm looking for Sri Lanka, Malaysia or Philippines later in the race.

I think Malaysia is the most likely out of the 3, although Sri Lanka has had a lot of Races through it recently and is still a break from India/Bangladesh... :o

I've got information that 6 teams were racing in Poland. And yes, U-turn was on polish leg.
I'm sure that F/F and Father/Son teams were in Gdańsk. Father/Son team switched Detour.

My shadow skills aren't as good as Chateau's, but it looks like 2.30pm.

Most of the sightings are around the same period then? The first report came up at 2.08pm.

Also a quick note (slow day at work today) that the sun has been up in Svolvaer since 24 May. I wonder how that interferes (or not) with our production schedule!

Poland's on the 5th leg, so there has to be, unless it's a TBC.

Maybe 6 teams performed tasks in the afternoon and 2 in the evening. I don't know.
Someone saw them http://joynjohannes.blogspot.com/2013/06/gdansk-city-trip.html Maybe we should write to him :)

All the pitstops we have so far have been of plazas/public squares. Possible memory task?

I won't be surprised if India or China is next (moving on to Asia) and they will most likely be skipping the entire Africa continent? :(

I think places like Croatia, maybe Romania, Serbia, happen before China, etc.  It sees like China gets visited pretty often.
maybe the Maldives.

Oh no, i want Africa legs... There are a lot of African countries haven't visited yet by TAR.

I like this option for a memory task. The ultimate Roadblock: Put these plazas/squares from the visited countries in order. ;)

Speculation, but the way the second leg worked this time (or, rather, the way I'm envisioning it to be) reminds me an awful lot about the weird replacement Bangkok leg we had in TAR 19.

A task or two at the beginning of the leg, then a looooong bus ride to the capital, then maybe one or two quick tasks before checking in.

We know the Bangkok leg was the result of a cancelled leg in Laos; could something similar have happened here?

The monsoon season has arrived in India a few weeks early, and there's been massive flooding as a result.
That would probably mean that if TPTB were planning India, that might not happen now.

I'm wondering if snowfall would restrict access over the Andes to Peru or Bolivia? I was in Bolivia three years back in July and had such a hard time trying to get to Iquique! I had to give up on Uyuni, backtrack to Oruro and then barely get a bus from there into Chile.

I guess we'll have to wait and see if the tasks in Santiago are as lame as the "feed the fish" in Bangkok!

Don't forget the earthquake in the north of Chile the morning of the beginning of the second leg.

I can see teams doing something in Sopot, Poland. Sopot is really close to Gdansk and is most popular for its Pier.

Oh. No! I didn't post it but I did get information from instagram that the Pit Stop was at the Pier. There is a bunch of pictures of filming crews at the Pier but it doesn't look like the race to me. I am not sure.
