I hope there will be a logic grid task where they have grid out a giant puzzleboard with Y-column being the leg number and the X-column being the figure they all have encountered.

Sort of like: link removed

Better yet, maybe we will see a quiz asking questions like: "What was the name of the Pit Stop in leg 4?"

Perhaps they have to remember names of certain animals/objects at pit stops, like "Tim the dog".

Not very likely as the names of other greeters haven't been revealed. And season 17 has already done a greeters memory task.

Guys, when they retrieved the clue from the monkeys who opened the coconut... Chuck and Wynona said it looks like a WHISTLE and then the *snake* (sneaky) hissing music came out.

I think the finale will be a similar to TAR 12 memory challenge? Things that they have encountered on the race?

Hmmm.

Here's another one. When Caroline and Jennifer sang in their taxi, before that their cab driver gave them a flower, which seems to be the flower on the garland they received on the first leg.. and as they receive the flower, an ominous sound was mixed in. :res:

Hmm.. Is there any proof that all other teams also received it? :)

There isn't, or rather you can also see it that the ominous sound is their favourite sound mixing too this season. :lol3:

This season sure does have a lot of abundant wildlife!
Since we aren't really seeing wildlife (only city and culture life) in Vietnam this season, Bringing this back up, there may be a locomotive final task with the va'a (leg 1), jet ski (leg 2), ATV (leg 3), surfboard (leg 4). It was kind of peculiar that teams had to bring the surfboard to the Pit Stop as the task is a Roadblock and not a misc. task like the season 10 amulet/pendant, season 12 chicken, and the ever-so-famous Travelocity gnome.

But there was no animal in the first Polynesian leg, was it?
Unless you can count the dog peeing on the sandcastles.

No way. Chicken is only in one of Detour in Vietnam leg. How can Pam/Winnie, Country Girls, Hockey Brother or Derby Moms know about that?

 blahblah
Could be a donkey  :lol3:
Isn't in wonderful we always have an awesome TAR predictor? :hearts:

Anyways, I'm starting to figure out it might be an animal memory task similar to the one in season 3. If so, we know the final destination is: Washington D.C. So can anyone check if there was a closure at the Smithsonian National Zoo during the final filming day? That's most likely the place where an animal MT may take place this season. Of course, the wordplay riddles can be connected to that zoo and it's one of the oldest in the US. Don't know why they wouldn't visit it. ;) .

Because it would have been mentioned in the clue (or the additional information). Given the chicken served literally no other purpose, it had to have been there for the memory task. We know they like putting pointers for the memory task in the clues - the flags from TAR9 and the country outlines from TAR19 - but what if they're hidden in plain sight this time? Plus we've had Detours and Fast Forwards turn up in the memory tasks before - heck, in TAR3's animal totem pole task, FOUR of the five animals were from Detours (the donkey from Leg 1, the horse from Leg 6, the goat from Leg 9, the manatee from Leg 10), with only the dolphin from Leg 2's Road Block sitting out.

I think animals could be a possibility. But our on the ground team saw NO evidence of the zoo being used.

Or there could be just no memory challenge like TAR 16 (the one where they place eliminated teams in order is not counted and is LAME), TAR 18, TAR 20... see the pattern? :tantrum :(

Seasons without a memory challenge always feel...incomplete to me.

Word. WORD. WORD. WORD. WORD. WORD.

The only season without some sort of a challenge and still feels complete for me is TAR 1 and TAR 7.

TAR 15, TAR 16, TAR 18, TAR 20 feels so incomplete and unmemorable, honestly.
