I don't know. It's like they WANT to be the villains (no friends, not liking people, blahblah.)

But I have to admit they made a pretty smart move/plan. I could see them picking up the pace and probably start to dominate.. hopefully not though :res:

I love them. ' we.are.evil' people.don't like us'
They are supportive of each other

It's not like they are talking bad about other people
They are focusing on their own race

They are not that bad.
Everybody want to win .

Who's not arragont when it comes to the race, I wouldn't care about other people aswell, we'll have fun to ourselves
Let's go Max & Katie!  All the way!

I like them too.  I don't know why, but they've got something that makes me root for them.

^ That's exactly how I feel, Alenaveda. That ended up being a genius plan by Max to get all three teams to quit the Roadblock.

OMG  these two are adorable at some way

They got a "villain" editing, but I personally thought they just "wanted" to be villains  :tantrum

They're definitely not bad-mean-cutthroat players like they addressed themselves, suprise suprise

I think they're just two nice people who don't really have an active social life, and think that everyone in the race would treat'em as outsiders, just like how they're being treated in real world.

I don't know though maybe we haven't seen everything. there's definitely more to come...

Since they're so far behind right now and leg 2 is still in Bora-Bora, I wonder what they did  to make a comeback.

BTW, that thing convincing other teams to quit Roadblocks, we haven't seen that since Rob did it in season 7 so Kudos Max!  :hoot:

Rooting for'em and everyone outside that stupid five-teams alliance  :ghug:

Reminder: No spoilers in the contestant thread.

I am going to say what I said back in AR7, that Rob may have been the final trigger but others had been thinking about and discussing taking the penalty long before he gave them the impetus to do it. The same is true in AR22. Max may have coalesced the 3 teams, but Caroline/Jennifer  and Daniel/Matthew  had already been thinking about and discussing it.

I am not saying that Rob and Max don't deserve credit for taking the penalty, but the other teams were ready for it.

yeah exactly. there were 400 sandcastles over there and only 3 of'em left with a clue bury underneath. what Katie said was right. they needed like more than 10 hours to dig and build all the sandcastles if they were to find a clue. A sandcastle might need at least like 3 to 5 minutes just to dig, search, and build it back. so that's possibly 20 sadcastles in an hour, 200 in 10 hours, regardless on their possible  luck

Not that It would be stupid if two other teams decided to take penalty and you just wanted to stay there and keep on digging and building, but you're really gonna have to depend on your luck.and 3 out 400??  :iok that's not even 1%

It's smart that Max brought the "let's take the penalty" out in the surface. They all basically hesitated to do it. Someone had to brought it up and it just happened to be Max.

They are not quite what I expected them to be but I kind of like them. They are similar to Romber in a way. "We don't have any friends in real life, I don't care"

Their interaction with Joey and Meghan was hilarious because you could just imagine what they really think of them.

These two were clearly the stars of the premiere. And rightly so.

They're bitchy, entertaining and brutally honest. I love it <3 They're obviously my favourites by a mile.

I like they are brutally honest and was DARN UPSET they didn't get on the first flight.

I was so disappointed! Imagine the drama there could have been if the twin doctors told them about the EP rule of giving it to first and second team... and what they would say about it.

Max annoyed me this episode. He's getting all analytical and crediting himself for everything and ill that and I'm just like man you're in 8th place can you chill out a little bit!

Max and Katie made me laugh this ep...from Searching for Nemo to "Max: (pp) she motivates me to succeed -- Katie:OR I will kill you" :lol3:

They want teams to dislike them, but it seems like every team likes them still. I'm not feeling any Charla & Mirna or Susan & Patrick vs. Rob & Amber stunts anytime soon. :(
