Mirna: Hello, all! It is I, Mirna (Paldog), Flo (racer), and Phil (Cocoa), the three hosts of this season of TAR: Design Challenge. It is time for the final design show of the season!

3 designers have fought long and hard for a chance to be here. The finalists are:

addie!

supah3ro!

and calphin!

They were challenged with designing an entire route for one season of the Amazing Race. Within their routes, they had to include a judge's choice leg (a leg that a judge wanted a contestant to redo from earlier in the season), a leg in Antarctica, and ALL 7 continents. Did the designers comply to the guidelines and make stellar routes? Let's find out! It's time to view the designs! First, we will begin with addie.

This is Harvard Stadium in the premises of Harvard University in the state of Massachussets.
This place, who have witnessed the sportsmanship and tough will of football athletes, will now be the audience, as we are starting the race around the world!

11 teams are travelling by double-decker bus to here. The 11 teams are ....

Good morning teams.
The first team to cross the finish line will win the Amazing Race and $1million.
And just as the recent season, the stakes are high.
The first team to arrive at the first PitStop, if they will come first again at the Finish Line, they will receive a total of $2million.

The world is waiting for you, but your first clue will be waiting at the tables right back of me.
If I give you the word, you can each go to one table, and give me a proof of your completed task, then I will give you a place in 2 predetermined flights.
Are you ready?
Good luck.
Travel safe.
...GO!!!

Starting Line Task :
The "Tikal" of Hanoi.
Teams will play a classic mind game of "Tower of Hanoi", but in this case, the tower is shaped like a Mayan pyramid, or it's called a Tikal.

The game has 3 poles, with the rightmost pole is already filled with a completed 7-levels of tikal. The objective of the game is to put the tikal onto the leftmost pole, from the largest level at below and smallest level on the very top, one level at a time, with the help of the middle pole.
What makes it harder is : team members have to take turns in moving the levels. Once the first member is done taking the level and touch a pole already, he/she cannot move it to the other pole. Each turn will take a max of 1 minute. If passed, a judge for each table will reset the tikal and teams have to start again. If teams have done it correctly, teams may bring the tikal with the leftmost pole to Phil to receive the plane tickets.

The first 4 teams will depart first at 11:27AM.
The last 7 teams will depart last, about 30 minutes later.

Basic Rules (from wiki) :
The object of the game is to knock over a peg that is planted in a sandpit over a distance of between 11 and 16 m (depending on age and gender). It is played in teams with usually four members each. Each member has two skeis (and thus two turns). The playing field consists of two pits juxtaposed in opposite directions, so that play can take place in both directions. Each time a team member knocks over the peg, he gets three points. If the peg wasn’t knocked out, the team lying closest to the position of the peg, scores as many points as they have skeis closer to the peg than their opponent's closest skei. The first team to get exactly 23 points first wins the game. If the team gets more than 23 points, they start from 0.

JSYK if you haven't followed the game on the Fantasy Games area, the original plan for the season was to have rounds in every continent and to feature all the continents throughout the game, which is why the season culminates in a seven-continent race.

(And on a personal note, I love 5+ continent races. I don't consider The Amazing Race to be a "race around the world" unless they hit an absolute minimum of four continents, preferably more. But that's just my view.)

FLO: Hello designers! Nice to see you all here on the Red Carpet back in the United States. (They finally got me my flight to JFK after all these years of begging... :res:) All of you definitely deserve to be here in the Final Three for various reasons, as you have all come up with some truly breathtaking legs and some memorable challenges.

FLO: I have looked through all the designs briefly, but tomorrow I will go over them with a fine tooth comb and hopefully come up with my decision. I wish you all the best of luck but only one will win and two will be thrown in the dungeons of mediocrity (with me ). That is all.
This space is dedicated forevermore to Poland's Next Top Model.
