CBS switched the Colts-Patriots audience to the other game which still has about 2:30 left to play, so everyone will be delayed by a few more minutes no matter which late game you were getting in the U.S.
And of course Canada started on time, the CFL doesn't run over does it? :)

CFL not carried by the same network. We were an hour early for the AMA's

Boy, there was a time lag tonight on the Eye-lerts; mine didn't come in until about 30 second before the show started.

Next week FOX has the doubleheader, and CBS will only have one late game (5 early games); the seventh game will be their traditional Thanksgiving Day game. No map is out yet.

Map is out, and there are four areas on the east coast feed getting the one late game on CBS:
Atlanta; Washington-Baltimore-most of the DelMarVa penisula-Harrisburg; Chicago-Milwaukee and most of Minnesota-eastern North Dakota.

theschnauzers,

I don't know if you missed them or if the guy changed the map......but some areas you left out......Tampa Bay, Miami-Ft Lauderdale and the lower Rio Grande Valley in Texas.....they all get the late game too.

Those areas were not shown getting the late game when I checked and posted. I don't remember which color the Florida areas were, but the Brownsville area was red when I checked.
He's not listing them as updates, but its possible there was later information that led to corrections that wouldn't be listed as an update (when the station gets a change approved by the NFL and CBS.)

Checked the maps today and they are basically the same. There are no updates, per se. There is a new category......"TBD" that I don't remember seeing before. It appears that covers the Tampa Bay area.......it seems to be in limbo at the moment.

Tampa Bay has a home game, and my guess is that it wasn't known if that game was sold out or not. The Tampa Bay home game is on FOX, and if the blackout was lifted that would shift CBS to the late game. If it is not lifted, then CBS would have to air an early game. My guess is that the long holiday weekend is making it difficult to know what is going to happen.

And every one of them is a home market of an NFL team.

This coming Sunday is a doubleheader Sunday for the NFL on CBS, but the good news is that except for most of Ohio. much of Kentucky, and small parts of Indiana and Michigan, all areas are getting the same game. (And I'm finally getting to see Ryan Tannenhill and the Dolphins as the early game in my area.) The primary late game is Pittsburgh v. Baltimore, Cleveland and Toledo markets are getting the Cleveland v. Oakland game, and the southern Ohio-Indiana-Kentucky area is getting the Cincinnati v. San Diego game.

Taking an advance look at December 9th, it is not a doubleheader on CBS, and the only late game being carried in CBS markets is Miami v. San Francisco; which likely will be just southern Florida getting that late game. There might be other markets, but Miami's away games haven't been sent to too many markets this season.

The Pittsburgh/Baltimore doubleheader game has gone to 2 minutes left in the first half. That means 60 Minutes starting at 730pm is assured unless the game goes to overtime (which several did today).
