If Leg-3 turns out to stay in Indonesia, the speculation on visiting the hot mud flow in Sidoarjo could be a possibilty, if the production want to make a "do for a good cause" concept.

A lot of family lost their houses and suffer a long term trauma and up until now some of them still stay in a poor condition under the tent...

Leg-1 is definitely an elimination leg?,

only 10 numbers displayed, but not sure if the eleventh one taken by the first team arrived there..

This is really intriguing - the Express Pass in previous races was awarded to the team that won the first leg - in TAR US anyways.
Very speculative - but is it possible that the leg in Shanghai is a TBC - (To Be Continued) and that no one was eliminated?

I would suggest not, because in the same situation in TAR 18, Gary & Mallory were awarded the Express Pass. It seems that TAR treats a TBC leg as seperate legs nowadays. Also, we've had reports of only 10 teams at both Shanghai airport and Bangkalan.

In lieu of TAR Aus, I wonder if the Salvage Pass was given out on the first leg. If TAR Aus 2 gives the express pass in Leg 2 it will seem even more likely that that is what they did here.

There's a spot for an eleventh number to hang there, so they could be being tricky.

This series of events makes me think that something went wrong with the implementation of the task and that it was cut. Reta couldn't have known about the bull running if it wasn't included as part of the first clue, but then it sounds like that after teams were held up at the Alun Alun and that the task didn't even take place.

I don't think production sticks to the strict 12/24 hour rule any more. It is currently 1.15am in Surabaya right now, so we might have to wait until morning..

Agree. I finished watching TARAUS 2 first episode, and the SALVAGE PASS (in this version) has two options: save last team from elimination or start the next leg one hour earlier. If there was a SP (in the same terms that TARAUS) in this season of TAR, the winner team of Leg 1 could have decided to take the second option instead of the first one.
