I think you made a little mistake in the Amsterdam Info! It's not Trey and Lexie that we see the in the picture with the gay farmers, but it's the unidentified m/f team of Abby and ?

I think... :duno:

You're right.  Dom, check the heights of both members of the team in the photo  (Abby and unknown) compared to Lexie and Trey previous pics.  Abby and his partner are almost the same height, but Lexie is shorter than Trey.

It looks like Abby and ??, Brent and Josh, and Nadine and Natalie are three of the top four or five teams this season.

Updated with Leg 12 info!

Only one correction to make. Since we are speculating that the twins are running decoys, we probably shouldn't be listing them as safe for Leg 11.

north09. we know some of the spotted teams had camera crews with them, and others did not.  IMHO, I think it's become more apparent when we're seeing decoys because of what is not coming with them in the final city. :)

Palma de Mallorca is definitely the place where I can't be in a couple of hours... ¬¬'

Do we have real sightings about that? I don't really find anything about it being a destination for sure.

We have an infamous twett from a person who was cast for one of the tasks (and it was gently asked to remove it  :) ) to be performed in that leg.

Dom El, just a very minor correction,
I believe Amy and Daniel were on the first flight to arrive in Shanghai, the timeline says they were on the 2nd flight :(
In the video you found of teams looking for taxis at LongYang Rd Station, Amy and Daniel came down the escalators with the first bunch of teams
Amy was also doing the eating RB the same time as Jaymes and Brittany, and it wouldve taken a miracle to catch up to them if Amy and Daniel were on the2nd flight

Thank you for doing a magnificent job of the timeline! and every season that has visited Russia I thoroughly enjoyed, so hopefully this is a season to remember ;)

Great spot, thanks supah3ro! While we only saw 6 teams in that video, we do also have a photo of Abby and Ryan in the station, so that would give us SEVEN teams on the first flight and only FOUR on the last.

Did that affect you the next two legs?
Gary: A little bit. It was better because we had a longer Pit Stop.

He may have been referring to after leg 3 since he tempers it with "A little bit".  We have time stamps on sightings that make it impossible for the extended Pit Stop to be after leg 2.  And a big ol'gap in between leg 3 and the SIN sightings.

Yes, teams reached Phil at the end of leg 3 around 10.00 on the 31st. Then it seems they were released after 36h in the evening of the 1st. The next morning they flew out and were sighted in Singapore on the 2nd.

It seems they arrived in Dhaka on the evening of the 2nd but did their racing on the 3rd.

AmazingRace:

Teams did not actually have to visit Paris. In leg 11 they had to get from the Balearic Islands to the French Chateau region around Tours. I believe they got there by train and that does not require going as far north as Paris.

In leg 12, F3 teams had to get to Queens borough of New York City. The logical route is from CDG to JFK. Getting to CDG may have involved a connection in Paris, but I suspect team bypassed it.

I'm curious, I've stayed spoiler free this year because my friend is related by marriage to Jaymes.  Today, my curiouslity got the best of me so I decided to come to RFF to check out the spoilers.  I'm told that the winner is known yet I cannot find the answer anywhere.  Can someone direct me?

beatlelovr, I don't think that's correct; as far as I can remember we never were sure about who won, just who made final three. At least I don't know who won.

Still not really sure about what happened to the Pit Stops in Moscow, but I think production "lent" the trailing teams about three hours credit for the second Moscow leg, and took it back at the end of the leg! (That'd help to keep the time the crew has to wait around shorter.)

AR21, episode 1 had a  Roadblock : Who wants to go 'tubing?':

In the second Roadblock, the team member who sat out the first Roadblock had to eat two hollowed-out papayas full of a Chinese delicacy dessert known as hasma – the fatty tissue found near frog fallopian tubes – using only the provided chopsticks and without lifting the papaya off the table.

This morning on a Bizarre Foods special Asia episode, Andrew Zimmern in Bangkok ate bird's nest soup. He indicted that the ingredients are a broth containing dried swallow's nests, hasma and sometimes gingko nuts. so there are other uses for hasma besides the one in Shanghai.
