I really hope that it is. I like when the have the overnight rest, on an ongoing leg. My favorite one have been The Amazing Race 9 leg 11 at Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan (Capsule Land Hotel). :luvya: :luvya: :luvya: :luvya:

Maybe the hay is another Fast Forward. Phil never said that there was only one on the race on leg 4.

i think its a little too soon to put that idea forward with out any visual evidence

but i agree, it does seem odd that it says TWO teams hit the hay, why would they be so specific??  :duno:

I'm pretty sure Hitting the Hay means sleaping? Possibly two teams oversleep?

Hay stacking means just what you normally think it means. There are vast pasturelands in Azerbaijan. "Lucerne is the « Shah» of fodders and is grown in all irrigated areas, as well as in mountain and foothill regions with high rainfall. Lucerne is partly fed fresh and partly as hay for feeding in winter. If agro-technical measures are followed in a timely way, lucerne gives 4-5 cuts in a year ( with irrigation that yields 80-120 tonnes per hectare green forage or 10-15 tonnes per hectare dried hay). In dry land agriculture it yields 6-10 tonnes per hectare dried hay from 2-3 cuts."

"In moist spring (which of course does not apply), productivity of pastures is 1.0 - 1.2 tonnes per hectare as dried hay."

Hay is not very useful unless you stack it in some way and move it to where it is needed.

I don't know how to post the pics, but the Fire Temple can be found at this site,  east of Baku.

I've made a previous point that Joey and Danny were not featured at all in the season preview at the end of episode 1. Apparentely, there were no future sightings after Italy. I guess its safe to say they're next. :(

It's either them or Mopper because all other teams have been sighted past Baku :jam:

Though an NEL is a remote possibility? :duno:

I think it means that two teams do that Detour because we already can see four teams doing the oil baths. I don't know why more teams would choose the oil but I guess they do ???

If this is the argument scene, then it was already been identified as Nairobi.

Good work, Kevin! That most likely means Joey and Danny are gone this time. :hoot:
