Here is a brief clip of what appears to be tomorrow's show from a KTLA interview Phil did.

Great clip Peach. Phil made one mistake. He talks about how the Amazing race has never been to one place twice. Never the same task.

It made me think of the Switchback in season 15.

Lookin' at the preview again, I think Nary&Jamie's watermelon whom fell of.. And yeah, I think the twins were missing something and they got penalty at the pitstop later, resulting to their elimination #pure spec

I think that those places didn't really visited by teams, it's just some stock shoots, except the one near Plaza de la Democracia, and by the way, Art & J.J were behind of federal agents on their way getting off from the airplane...

The places featured in the Asuncion montage are:
1. Aerial view of Asuncion, flying above the Asuncion Bay
3. The former Legislative Palace, now a musseum and cultural center named Cabildo, a few blocks from the roadblock location (Plaza de la Democracia), in the opposite direction of the pit stop (Escalinata Antequera). Unless someone gets lost or there's an unknown RI, I doubt they'll go there.
4. and 5. Cerro (Hill) Lambare, which is pretty far away from any of the places visited
6. Traffic officer at Plaza de la Democracia
7. Palacio de López, a few blocks West from the Cabildo
8. Juan de Salazar y Espinoza -founder of the city of Asuncion- monument in front of the Cabildo
9. and 10. Banco Nacional de Fomento, just across the street from Plaza de la Democracia
11.-19. Silvio Pettirossi International Airport in the city of Luque

Can you help with THIS location??

I am reviewing caps...

In this scene (do we know where this is??) We see, as has been noted, R/Brendon and Joey/Danny. But I think we also see JJ popping up right behind the cameraguy as well. This many teams together suggests running for the first RI maybe??

Also...

And in these caps we can say that at one point in time The Twins, Bopper and Mark, and Kerri and Stacy were all stringing it up together.

We can also say that at one point in time, Nary and Jamie and Elliot and Andrew were there together.

Watermelon woes??   :duno:

 Both these Detours look HARD!!

This is probably the sample stack:

Art and JJ seem to be doing well:

And we hear JJ saying I LOVE being on the race!

R/B unloading with a full truck next to them, could be a sign of an early arrival:

Rachel and Dave starting well, and note that there appear to be two empty pallets on either side of them, perhaps suggesting they are an early arrival as well?

Bopper and Mark starting out? (We know they switch, from Strings to Stack? ???

We know R/V are having trouble, we see their stack collapsing and Vanessa saying tell them we have lost...

But they seem to start well? Unloading at same time as R/B and lots of empty pallets around:

I actually think this is them running to the pit stop. Why? Thanks to the KTLA preview we know the first teams to arrive to Paraguay did it some time around noon-early afternoon. I remember that day as I had a final. It was really hot. The sun was shining with all its glory and we can see that in the caps of Rachel/Brendon watermelon time.

We then see the two discussing the "Vanessa incident" in the taxi and we can see this is late afternoon. We see Vanessa/Ralph have stayed behind and spent there a lot of time. Look at the shadows in the background in these two pictures:

Then, we see the sun is beginning to set when Rachel does the roadblock. The picture in question with the two of them running and a team chasing them seems to have been taken with less sunlight.

The Plaza de la Democracia roadblock and the Escalinata Antequera pit stop are just 8 blocks apart, so it could easily be a foot race to the mat.

We know from the pit stop picture that some teams checked in at night. Vanessa/Ralph are seen in the picture.

It fits a possible schedule: considering distance and traffic during rush hour, the entire leg could have happened between 4-7 hours, depending on the speed of the teams in the tasks.

Also, some roads in downtown Asuncion are not very wide and have little traffic. That's another reason why I put them somewhere over there. The Metalurgica Punta de Rieles is located in a VERY crowded avenue, but in an area that doesn't have a lot of buildings like the one depicted in the aforementioned picture. Same goes to the university.

But of course, I could be wrong. We'll see it tonight.

Hmmm...that is very interesting!! I was thinking this was a run to first RI, but if this is a run to the Pitstop that puts Joey and Danny, and maybe Art and JJ  right in there with R/B!

Thanks!!

That's Nary, and we see both Art and JJ doing it as well, so doing the mini obstacle course seems to be required.

Find Detour clue, follow the slides etc out?

Is this a company that builds this stuff?
