Hopefully they don't take forever on the awards stuff :res: I'll guess about 8:45 start time for TAR :groan:

Bubba has done it!  It's over!

"Another Watson is wearing the Green Jacket" - Jim Nantz

Anyway, looks like CBS might push things to 8 to be simple here.

I think that would be best, to push things on the hour. They would probably also cut out either the Good Wife or CSI: Miami, both of which are not new, to make local news on time.

That might make sense to some, but not to CBS. They start 60 Minutes whenever they can. They do not wait to be on the hour.

Hopefully it'll end by 7:45, due to the celebration and not wanting to DVR too much unnecessary stuff.  OTOH, an 8:00 60 Minutes start is okay as well.

Funny how the Amazing Tweet said that TAR COULD be delayed. All of the 5 seasons that aired during the Masters since its Sunday move have been delayed.

So, it'll end when it ends, but this will be the last time TAR is delayed for the remainder of the season.

Actually, CBS hosts PGA Tour Golf on 4/15, 4/22, 4/29, and 5/6 (which is the two hour finale, I think), and 4/15 and 5/6 are played in the east coast, (South and North Carolina, respectively). TAR will still possibly be delayed in the future.

Source: http://www.pgatour.com/r/schedule/

But all of those PGA tours are scheduled to be over at 6PM with "local programming" filling the six o' clock hour. So even if there were and overrun of an hour, 60 minutes would still start on time.

CBS has a RBC Heritage Golf tournament wiring at 3pm to 6pm, followed by 2 half hour news programs that frequently disappear. The chances of an on-time start for 60 Minutes tonight are excellent in my judgment.

It looks like the rest of the season could be free and clear. These PGA games that end by 6PM should not ever be a problem.

An extra minute is fine with me.

Sounds as if this is going to be an Amazing episode; WRP and CBS must have felt something in particular needed to be included.

(But this Sunday is also the season finale of The Good Wife.)

i think they will have a longer finale preview at the end of the episode, which is why it runs a minute over IMO :)

I think the reason for the additional minute, and the "memories" for Mark and Bopper towards the end of the last episode may be related to something that the editors needed to include this week.

By themselves neither would indicate a lot, but taken together, that generates a couple of precious on-air minutes; and I think the preview promos and photos are not telling us what it is, either.

But the additional minute, while rare for TAR is not unprecedented (The finale of TAR 4 ran 5 minutes over way back when.)

The Golf Tournament  on CBS just ended on the first hole of 3-player sudden death. So, yes AR20 will be 8pm to 10pm.

I'm watching the game too. It's never-ending. They are at the 14th inning. I think the game started 5 hours ago.
