Israelis like drama I guess. They are trying to push it as much as they can because of the high production costs.

If you can watch it with subtitles you are far more patience than I'll ever be ... anyway, I'll check if I can find something but I doubt it. I can keep you updated if you like. Everyone here is going gaga over the new US season so I don't think it will have a big market anyway.

By the way...
I recognised most of the places they been in the promos beside the "snow tasks". It looks like a recycled task from some New Zealland leg but I don't think its in New Zealland... what do you guys think? Could it be an unspoiled European leg?

It suppose to but think there is a problem with the uploads.
Anyway, the first leg was on Israel. Ben Gurion Airport served as the pit stop and the first eliminated team didn't even got leave the country

. Unlike the first season the tasks were really original (In the first season all tasks were recycled from the US and Asian versions) , the main task was a really hard mental challenge, I was supprised that all teams were able to figure it out. The cast seems really good as well.
Looks like its going to be a good season.

Inna accidentally drove over Bars foot. It wasn't that serious and medical gave them green light to continue. This team have a tendency to make a lot of dumb mistakes, they kind of remind me of Kelly & Christi form season 13.

There was an into... I can look it up if you like.

yeah, Bar & Inna kind of got lost on their way to Ben Gurion...

But i meant an intro like the ones in other TAR seasons, with the theme song and clips from the teams and destinations.

I was watching the first episode and I was quite surprised, was alot better than the first season.
the cast is fun and the host is way better (which is quite hard for me to say cause I know the former host personally).

looks like it's gonna be a great season. what a shame the first couple eliminated were the funniest of the bunch.

Great episode. The tasks were all interesting. Wandering around a Windows XP background looked really nice. My favorite teams are Anaelle & Akiva and Alon & Oren. Hopefully, since they apparently will be eating spicy Hungarian soup, they'll have the same greeter as the one in season 6.

Could someone please explain to me how they were supposed to find the colors from the music?

The teams had to listen to a traditional local choir that sang several known Israeli songs. Teams had to realize that that the singers are deliberately missing parts that mention color adjectives in three of the songs and use the colors as a reference for what they have to find in their next task. Beside the understanding what vague "find the colors" clue means, the teams actually had to be familiar with the lyrics songs to figure out what is missing, what made the task difficult to anyone that is not a fan of Israeli music.

I don't think this kind of task ever appeared in any of the seasons. Correct me if I am wrong.

It's weird - I liked the first couple initially but they were doomed from the get-go once Alona opened her mouth. No real cause for celebration but I don't think they would've last much longer anyway.

They made up a really weird version of the U-turn in this version. All team encounter a U-turn "voting" sign somewhere in the beginning of the leg and all the teams, if they like, can vote for the a team that will be U-turned in the later detour of the leg (even team that are ahead of them). After the detour team will encounter the u-turn board and each team will see who voted for them and the team that recieved the most votes have to go back the preform the second part of the assignment.
This new U-turn was obviously added as a way to create more conflicts between the teams. I don't know what I think about this new twist. The u-turn sign in Krakow , reported in this forum, spoiled the final 7 so I guess its kind of a plus

There might have been cooler thing in the later legs but I never pay attention to those kind of stuff. Production was a little less stingy with the prizes in the current season.
3. Tal & Mor got a gift for being eliminated? Yeah, they got scratch off gift card for 2,000 shekels (a little more then 500$ depends on the currency). Like most prizes it was a product placement thing.

I was watching episode 16 (I think? The start of the second leg in China) and at about 5 minutes in, I saw something that caught my eye.... a TAR14 racer! There's a little snippet of Mark & Michael washing hair in Guilin as part of their speedbump inserted in the show. How odd!!

I like it, I like how every team is required to use it, but I do agree that it should be on fewer legs. More than half the legs but fewer than every leg. It makes things interesting, but after a while the episode break is "Oh man this team is having trouble with the other detour. They may not make it much further. Oh wait, this didn't mess them up much at all and they'll finish in 3rd or 4th."

Also, when does this start back up? Tomorrow?

I also like the U-turn thing... unlike the US version, it's not a death sentence (only Tom and Adele made it last after being U-turned this season) and it adds friction between the teams.

In a similar manner to the previous season the final is filmed separately from the rest of the show. The finale is scheduled to be filmed in Singapore in the next few days and will include a midway elimination point. If there's any bored Singaporeans out there you got yourselves a challenge.

There was suppose to be a team of two middle aged men and one of them was the mayor of the city of Ashkelon. A few days prier to the race Ashkelon was bombed by Gaza strip and the mayor felt obligated to stay in his town. I am not sure if there were suppose to be 12 teams of if the men were replaced by an alternate team in the last minute.
Personally I think the entire thing was a hoax to get the media intrested and that team was never meant to be part of the cast to begin with. Formerly that's the story.
