On local news today and in local blogs http://www.vancitybuzz.com/2011/12/amazing-race-vancouver-filming-locations/ the race teams are heading for Vancouver BC today at 4pm. I will try to get some photos at one of the stops!

to RFF, canadianyvr! By the looks of that article, that is talking about The Amazing Race Canada (if there is such a thing). IMO, it's unlikely that teams from TAR 20 would be going there at this point in time, anyway, but that's just my spec. (

Someone commented on that article:

"Not sure about the image. But I can confirm The Amazing Race (not a Canadian version) will be filming in Vancouver. They may actually go to a bunch of Canadian cities. This time they won't just go to the airport they'll be filming around Vancouver.

I am getting info that teams were seen on a flight from Havana, Cuba to Toronto. Trying to source more info as we speak but they could match up quite well with the Vancouver speculation.

Not true. There are no current travel advice warnings for this country set by the Australian government.

Trying to get more info, not sure about date/time yet either. Also not sure if this would be a transit point to Vancouver or a leg.
