Wanpei? ???

Good observation! Wow!

I imagine hearing this:
PHIL (Voiceover): Teams must figure out their next destination. To do that, they may find the need to scour all the umbrellas stacked on the shelves for "clues" that will refer to their first destination. Teams that have an eye for detail will notice the letters "WANPEI" posted above the racks. Once they think they know the answer (adding TAI to taiWAN and taiPEI), they will be given flights to Taipei, Taiwan.

I was looking at the Core Pacific City Living Mall on Google Earth and found some good pictures of the exterior and interior of the Mall. It's a very striking building. I thought I'd post them here to give us a better feel for the place. Also the interior pictures give a little more of a feel for how high the bungee jump might be. It looks like it could be 6 or 7 stories.

You are correct, these pix are Core Pacific City Living Mall, the name in Mandarin is "京華城 Jing Hua Cheng",
and not much locals know that english name called "Core Pacific City Living Mall", normally just know it called "Living Mall".
http://web01.livingmall.com.tw/page.aspx?pgid=cp04

And the bungee floor is at 10th floor, and it's about 62m,
the bungee jumping usually open in the weekend, but it stopped the service since 2006, what a shame...

It doesn't look like an italian sportscar. Maybe a Mustang? It's a branch of Ford and if it is part of a task it could continue the tradition of product placement.

It's definitely not a Ferrari and I'm very sure it is a 2012 Ford Mustang. I wouldn't be surprised to see that as a sponsorship. It's a very popular car in America right now.

On escalators in Taiwan, people generally stand on the left side to clear a path for people who are in a hurry to walk. Our racers should find this helpful.

Zhongxiao Fuxing station and Ximen station are both on the blue line for the subway, so racers won't need to transfer to a different line. Ximen is four stops away from Zhongxiao Fuxing. If Ximending is the next stop, then Exit 6 at Ximen station is the closest one.

People usually stand on the right side, and people in a hurry could use the left-side path to walk. You might get the direction wrong. :) However, this only happens in Taipei, especially in MRT system in Taipei.

I love the fact that some teams still head to the airport newsstands to look for travel guides while waiting for their flight.
Good habits never die on this show. :)

I definitely meant to type right instead of left! And yes, I was thinking of the MRT system in Taipei. Guess I wasn't too awake when I typed all of that.  :-[
