Why would he be disqualified for that? He didn't spill the beans before the premiere so what's the big deal?

Nothing Happened.  ED spent 5 days locked in that house and realized he didn't want to do it.  He already won this game and he has better things to do with his summer.  Once he heard the gold key twist he knew he would exit and give Dani the shot at the money. He only went in there for her anyway.  He could never spend a summer in there again.  There is no emergency.  He saw his out AND got to screw Rachel's HOH at the same time.  As far as he is concerned he just won again.

Before you all start screaming that Dick's picture on the memory wall is still in color.....

It will remain in color UNTIL Alison Grodner address the situation to the houseguests, which will happen sometime today and then it'll fade to black.

So don't be surprised if the feeds get cut off today.

Think back to BB9, remember when Neil abruptly left the house and Sharon was brought back that one night, Neil's picture on the memory wall remained there until the next afternoon and then they finally replaced it with Sharon's picture.

I don't think it will. Either someone else will be brought in or this will be considered an eviction in Rachael's HOH just like they did with the Chima incident when Keesha was HOH and it shortened hers. JMO though....

Apparently Dick was called into the D/R and about 6 hours later it house guests were wondering where Dick was because 6 is a long time, and then Danielle was called into the DR and was tell he had left the game due to a personal issue (believed to be something about his gf in Colorado) and it had nothing to do with here immediate family. Due to this, she will be the first person to receive the golden key.

Update Apparently Dick has posted a video on his website saying he will be in the house on his website (the day he was about to leave) this possibly broke a rule.

It has not yet been confirmed but it sounds like yes... the HGs are still all paranoid about POV and eviction.

Libby it is a video of ED saying he is one of the contestants for BB13.  Rumor has it that BB13 had not premiered when ED released the info.

I can't see them DQ'ing him for that...producers love him and let him get away with so much stuff on camera in his season.  I don't know if we'll ever get the real story.  I don't like that Dani gets a golden key because of this.   Meh.  I think they will still evict someone this week, they just won't do a double elimination this year.

I agree.....that might get a DQ for someone less inclined to bring ratings, but I think they would let him get away with it.  I think the return of ED was the reason the ratings were so great this year for the premier.  I'd bet they did everything possible to try to keep him there.  I think thats why it was SO long before they told Dani....they were trying to convince him to stay if at all possible.   

I think this will give them a chance to have another evicted houseguest return like they've done in seasons past.  With this happening in the first week, it gives them plenty of time to plan so that it won't throw the schedule off at all.  I bet when we get to about the 4th or 5th week (Top 10), and the duos go away (if that doesn't happen earlier) and they are playing individually,  we'll have another America's choice houseguest return.  Or something along those lines.

from what I am gathering from the feeds whomever wins pov can pull themselves off and not both nominees from their team and then Rachael chooses someone to go up in the veto winners place if it is Keith or Porsche. So if Keith wins POV only Keith can remove himself and not him and Porsche....I like this scenario better anyway
