Legend has it that Denias Castle in Poland houses the ghost of a woman who appears nightly, this was the 8th pit stop in a race around the world
J/L and N/T will depart at 8:45 and 8:46 AM
"Fly to Tel Aviv, Israel"
Once there, teams must find the Asriali towers. At the roof of the tallest of the three buildings teams will find their next clue.
Jeff "It's almost like we're in an intersection with Nathan and Tyler"
Tyler and Nate lost about $150 that they had stockpiled from previous legs.
N/T had no money to buy a map.
N/T and J/L fly out at 2:50 PM to arrive at 12:20 AM
S/R depart 10:07 AM, they want to prove they can do what the men can do
D/K and M/T depart at 11:33 AM and 11:34 AM
Tom "Do you reckon Israel will be cold?"
Matt "It's over by Pakistan, I think."
Matt thinks they're hitting their straps and doing well now, shortly before noticing he's driving on the wrong side of the road.
Sam and Renae are happy to be going to Tel Aviv and 24 degree weather.
N/T and J/L's flight is DELAYED 55 minutes, allowing S/R and M/T to catch up.
Dave and Kelly are lost and missed the flight.
The first four teams are flying via Brussels, Dave and Kelly are on a flight that will arrive about 2 hours later.
Teams arrive in Tel Aviv and stereotypical Jewish accordian music starts up.
Nathan and Tyler's taxi cost $162, but they only have $160 so they are back to zero now.
N/T arrive first at the clue. ROADBLOCK
"Who is your driving force?"
Teams must take a train about 90kms, then the chosen team member must do a pretty basic shipping container task involving driving a small truck.
Renae feels a bit of pressure having to drive against four blokes.
The train is about 90 minutes away. Nathan and Tyler are talking to a local who loves Aussies, they ask for change.
First four teams are on the same train, Dave and Kelly are just landing they are disappointed to be last.
At the Roadblock there is an HoO- The gate opens at 6 AM.
Tom "The cement we laid down on was cold enough to give you piles in about 2 minutes"
Dave and Kelly are unsure whether they'll see other teams. The first four are worried because Dave drives trucks.
Dave and Kelly have caught up, but the other teams would much rather they didn't because of the energy Dave brings with him.
Matt and Tom are not worried about driving trucks.
Tyler is worried, Renae feels the pressure. Dave is having difficulty despite having "driven triple road trains" he can't get the trailer hitched on.
The task is very similar to the double decker bus task, if teams hit a cone they must start over.
Jeff seems to be doing okay, but he is worried that he won't be able to do it.
Tom has violin music and is doing well.
Dave: "I couldn't have been much more fatigued, so it was like driving drunk on that wharf."
Tom is reversing it back into the parking bay and then he'll be done. Jeff has panicked and swinging the wheel too hard.
Renae nudges a cone and must now restart.
Ad break.
