Yeah, and they never get to the top in the finale.

The last season that had leg 1 "REAL" NEL was TAR 15. How recent is that?

Count double-length leg in...

Story of the season usually finishes in  2nd (Season 9, 13, 17) or 3rd Place (Season 8, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16) but never first (only exception was Season 17 with the first all-girl team to win).

Add season 7 to the group of Story of the season finishing in 2nd

OMG GUESS WHAT! If you come in first the last leg, you will win!

 :lol3: :neener:

Have you ever noticed that if you're second or third in the last leg, you won't win? :o

Not true. Uchenna & Joyce in Season 7 were last all the way in the final leg, in the end, they had lucky karma which caused the airplane door not to close, allowing them to even up with Rob & Amber and for them to take the win.

And in Season 14, Margie & Luke were in the lead until Luke choked up in the surfboard roadblock...

Even in our home version of TAR (some fans organized a quasi-TAR game), the curse for EP3 winners still exists. :groan:

How about if there are two Fast Forwards in a season, the winner of the second usually wins the Race?

Also when there is only one available FF the user wins the Race.

Is your second spell referring to the leg or the whole race?

Richard & Joey were eliminated

I think he was referring to TAR only

Richard and Joey's was counteracted by the most powerful spell, the third led winner. There must be a hierarchy.

Back in the days of the Yield, the Yieldee usually checked in before the Yielder. Is that a spell?

Although Colin & Christie broke that spell when they arrived last at the pit stop, and I think Freddy & Kendra also managed to check in to the pit stop before Adam & Rebecca, who they yielded :)

Prophet, this is a list of the times teams have used an yield. Only in four cases did the yielded team finish higher than the yieldee.

TAR 7: Rob & Amber (1st) yielded Ron & Kelly (2nd)
TAR 8: Paolo Family (1st) yielded Weaver Family (5th), Linz Family (1st) yielded Weaver Family (4th)
TAR 9: Lake & Michelle (5th) yielded Danielle & Dani (9th), BJ & Tyler (4th) yielded Ray & Yolanda (3rd)
TAR 10: Dustin & Kandice (4th) yielded Lyn & Karyln (2nd)
TAR 11: Dustin & Kandice (1st) yielded Eric & Danielle (3rd), Oswald & Danny (4th) yielded Eric & Danielle (3rd)
TARA1: Sandy & Francesca (1st)  yielded Andy & Laura (5th)
TARA2: Marc & Rovilson (2nd) yielded Ann & Diane (4th)
TARA3: Geoff & Tisha (1st) yielded Henry & Bernie (4th)
TARA4: Dimple & Sunaina (1st) yielded Claire & Michelle (4th)
CR: Karen & Lisa (5th) yielded Janis & Aleksandra (8th)

Interesting :) Then I'd like to see Sandra from Survivor participate in TAR. She'd use her luck to break the curse.

But Nicolas & Donald took the second one, so they broke the spell of the winner of the second FF winning the race
