Totally made me laugh-out-loud just then. They are definitely three different rumours, all of which I am quite worried about!

Question is: "Is any of these rumors true?"  :duno:

If the race had started today and we somehow missed it, I'd be shocked. You would think that more people would have been tweeting about this if it were true. I call all three of these as fake.

Maybe they started somewhere like last season near Palm Springs in the desert where its more isolated.

I am taking this set of tweets with caution until we some someone else reporting on it from LAX (or elsewhere in the Los Angeles area) as well. Most of the pre-race indications had them going to Asia first. This info looks good, but we may have finally found a smooth hoaxer.

This guy doesn't look/sound like a hoaxer to me.    Peach will clarify if this person is a hoaxer or not.

That's what I was thinking. He keeps introducing new "info" like they were supposed to go to argentina and now they are going to Copenhagen. Also he never really tweeted before this and didn't have any followers until you guys started following him.

However, I think his ramblings are fact based but embellished

Could be. But we still had plenty of sightings that day at LAX. I'm also bothered by the time of day though. It seems a little late to be starting. I thought most of the time they began in the morning or early afternoon.

Its almost 4:00pm here on the west coast.  The race could have started in the late morning around 11am-noon.  Remember they have to travel to the airport, get to the terminal, go through check-in and security.

I agree, he doesn't sound like a hoaxer. He sounds like a real fan, like what I would be saying if I was there. He's been a tweeting machine. I'm just trying to be cautious since in the past, we've usually had several people tweeting about seeing the TAR racers. It's a bit funny that we haven't seen any other reports yet. That's all I'm saying. I'd expect to see some other people tweeting about it in the next couple of hours or at least before the flight leaves.

Also, he's apparently never sent a tweet until an hour ago. That's a bit suspicious.

And the supposed starting line task. (I don't think there is any way he could know if they had done one, either a guess or a fabrication imo)

Yeah. Me too. Is there any possibility that somebody could ask him to take some pictures?

Until we know if this is fake or not, I guess I'll humor it for a bit. The description of married little people from TV made me think of Bill Klein and Jen Arnold. I saw them on TV once and they also have a show on TLC.

Based on the speculated starting line challenge and up to 3 teams getting on the earlier flight to Frankfurt (Lufthansa 457), they would arrive in Frankfurt at 10:25 Sunday morning with the connection to Copenhagen (Lufthansa 828) departing at 2:45PM, arriving in Copenhagen at 4:05PM.  The other teams may be flying to Frankfort on Lufthansa 451, departing 7:00PM and arriving Sunday at 2:40PM with the connection to Copenhagen (Lufthansa 830) departing at 4:55PM and arriving in Copenhagen at 6:15PM.

Where was the startline? Were teams in Canada?

No, teams were probally in the Los Angeles metropolitan area like last season and the 12th-16ths seasons as well.
