I'm exciting!!! I can't wait!
I really wish we could stay longer in the countries we visit, but I've been lucky to have visited most of them before, because I've done a tremendous amount of travel. - Phil Keoghan

I think there will be plenty of English.  :cmas22
I've only seen a little of China Rush, but probably something like that. Both Tagalog/Filipino and English and plenty of Taglish probably.  :cmas16

They better make it good. TV5 is a promising station, second only to ABS.

I wonder whether they are gonna make it a daily show. Please no, I hope its gonna be once a week only.

And I hope Paolo Bediones will host! Haha

I'm excited, and worried because Philippine TV Shows always massacre foreign shows (except Big Brother)

You're obviously a Kapamilya.

And yeah, I want to see Paolo Bediones do the hosting but it seems like Aga Muhlach got the job...

According to rumors months ago, they're gonna give it to Aga, but it turned out to be Pinoy Explorer.

Still there's no announcement as to the auditions...

And I think it will be in Tagalog like Survivor Philippines, unless of course if they will going out of the country...

With China Rush 3 going on production at the moment, and TAR: Philippines is underway, I'm positive TARA existence will not continue for at least 18 months (or until mid 2013..) but we'll see...  :cmas11

ShowbizBlogPh: Amazing Race Pinoy Edition Soon on TV5
Sunday, March 27, 2011 , Posted by JED at 12:04:00 AM

Jun Lalin on Twitter: TV5 gets the local franchise rights of world's highest rating reality game show Amazing Race.

These news came straight from TV5 management when they made an announcement to advertisers during one of the station's trade launch.

GMA-7: Mark Herras, Kris Bernal and Rocco Nacino whip up their one-of-a-kind dance moves for television's most-awaited danserye with the working title "Jump In". Soon on GMA-7.

ABS-CBN: Angel Locsin who is known to be an active advocate for the wellness of women said that she is neither pro- nor anti-RH bill but believes that the proposed law still needs to be checked further: “Ako, pro-life ako, as in pro-life. Ayaw ko i-entertain ang abortion. Pero ang pro-life, ang mabuhay ang tao ng disente...ako ay para sa planado, mulat at responsableng pagpapamilya. Kailangan i-dissect pa ang bill. Hindi lamang ito para sa family planning, kalusugan ng ina at anak. Hindi mangyayari ito kung walang education, social services,” she said.

That's good to see the official ads from TV5...  :xmas146
in addition, I'm also proud my neighbouring country has such a big enthusiasm towards the show...it can be seen from all pinoys tweeting and facebooking about this...  :cmas16 it could be the effect of Richard&Richard winning the recent TARA..  :cmaslol

wiki can be edited by ANYONE. We never trust it for future events, although it is a great tool for historical events.

When I first saw the TV advertisement for this, the first thing that I said was "I want to join!" :xmas146 :xmas146 :xmas146

Unfortunately, I don't know how to drive. I don't even know someone, other than my father who is an invalid, who can drive. I'm of legal age and joining the Race is one of my dreams.

Then I saw someone posted in this forum urging another to be a part of the production crew. Can I be a part of it too? :cmas7 :cmas7 :cmas7

Well, this is good for TAR franchise. I just wish TARPh will be like the American and Australian version which visit countries all over the world.

Let's wish TARPh good luck, guys!

[BTW, it's been a long time since I last logged in. The last time I logged in was on July last year. Well, welcome to the new guys.]
