Same goes for Gypsum, they must have taken different routes. The racers shown on Long are different from the racers in the clip.

Saw contestants from the Amazing Race HOPPING down Gypsum Street dressed as KANGAROOS a little while ago...wish I could've joined them! Anyone else seen anything unusual today? xx Tali
2 minutes ago

This way would work too, as would several others.

Heh, I have Kisha/Jen and the Trotters flipped in that photo.

Looking at the original kangaroo caps here it looks like from the progression of #36 on the cowboys are getting ahead of the rest of them. The question is how they pass Margie and Luke. Margie was mentioning she was hot, maybe another overheating incident?

If the departure times for the next leg can be believed, they are only a minute ahead...so I would bet on a run to the Pitstop playing a role.

Good point, from the most recent clip though it looked like Z/J and K/J were a bit ahead. The cowboys and the globetrotters would also have passed K/J. It's hard to tell though, the cowboys are good at gaining ground after a slow start.

It appears to me that Zev/Justin and Margie/Luke start "hopping" away from that Locker Room down an alley in this photo.

You can see that red brick wall in the background. Then they zig-zag over to a street to the south. You can see where the red brick wall changes to beige in the background in this photo.

They do seem to be heading in the general direction to Bismith/Mercury.

Since Zev/Justin and Margie/Luke, as well as Ron/Christina and Gary/Mallory, seem to have worked together on the kangaroo task, do you think it could have been an Intersection of sorts or did they just happen to team up?

There were more pics but can't snag them right now.

The producers really need to find a way to strip down Amanda or Kris' shirt. Last time, they failed (Novosibirsk's marathon). This time, they succeeded!

So it is looking like -

Manly to Town Hall (Rest Stop)
Fly to Broken Hill
Intersection? Dress as Kangaroos and find an intersection
Detour: Mosaics or Stencils
U-Turn
Pitstop!

From that one spoiler person.......they left the airport and went directly to the Living Desert......where it looks like the two detour options are......then back to town and putting on the kangeroo suits......then the pit stop.

I don't think there is an Intersection?

Manly to Town Hall (Rest Stop)
Fly to Broken Hill : assigned flights
Find cluebox in desert (Trotters observed)
Living Desert: Detours, then Dance for your next clue
(Includes Automatic U-Turn)
Go to Memorial Oval (??change into kangaroo costumes at stadium?)
Kangaroo task : use periodic table to find street intersection (Mercury and Bismuth)
Make your way to:
Junction Mine Pitstop

But remember we saw the Trotters getting a clue by the road?? Not sure which clue or where that was...
