Anyway, the Hollywood week was surprisingly good! Holly did good, i take back my words that she isn't too good. She wasn't that good at auditions but her Hollywood week was good. Chris.. disappoints. Even JLo just made a brief comment that she'll "do with" her performance.

As for 15 Year Old Victoria... :yess: :yess: :yess: :yess: :yess: SHE DIDN'T MAKE IT. SHE WAS DARN ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!

And never join the show as best friends/couple. Every year AI likes to break them up for some major drama. The previous year was Danny Gokey and friend. Now it's this poor couple.

I wished they showed us more singing than some drama mama moments though..

I wish we'd seen more singing, they kicked out 320 over two days of Hell Week.  It should have been a 2 hour show.

I agree....The show should have been longer with more singing.  Some of the ones that made it through the first round I don't remember.   :duno:

not sure how i missed Emily Anne so thanks to TL for posting that audition!  I agree she was awesome once she picked up her Guitar!

regarding Hollywood week.. i felt totally duped  there should have been way more for the viewers/fans than a 1 hr show of 5 second clips.

here's to hoping that this group week is better!  :keeta:

I hope she survives the Group Hell performances. Tonight will be a 2 hour show. I'm torn.. what to watch first, Survivor then AI or the other way round. Which will win my attention first?  :umn:

The "Adam Lambert wannabe" made it through the next round even though he sang bad in group round IMO.

Which one eragon? There were several screamers last night. I know there was one in the last few groups who ended the song down on his knees. He was forgettable though because I can't even remember his name.

Yup. That was the group I'm talking about. The guy with the bandana on his head.

He'll be cannon fodder. The fact that we can't even remember his name is telling isn't it!

My TV preview said only the "Top 20" will stay.

So confusing!

Anyway, i think you can sort of guess who's in the Top 20/24 already based on the focus they have given to the same few people AGAIN and AGAIN these few HW Auditions Round.

There's at least 10 people i'll be shocked to see NOT make it.

He did say top 24 next week.

What did y'all think of Jacob Lusk with his song “God Bless the Child? I was blown away and brought to tears with his emotional breakdown when he finished. He gave it everything he had.  If he doesn't go to the end it will be a horrible shame.

Scott McCreery, 16 years old and a deeeeeep voice and Ta-Tynisa Wilson. Scott had to change songs and didn't have a lot of time to learn the words. They both screwed up the words but got through to the next round. LOL

TL, I know Jacob sang good. But i seriously didn't like that rendition of the song. :duno:

Hayley IMO, was MUCH BETTER than Ashton. I was blown away by Hayley!! Her voice is so unique... Ashton nailed her song. But her voice isn't very distinctive.. i would much prefer Jennifer Hudson's voice..

TL, i also didn't Scott McCreery had to change songs. I think they had a list of songs they had to choose from and his favourite country song wasn't just in the list and he had to make do with this song.

Tynisa got through to the next round thanks to her talented voice.

And did you realize how people avoided Kelly Clarkson's Because Of You?

LOL.. when I read this, I thought you meant they avoided Clarkson's song because of ME!  :lol3: (But no I didn't notice that... thanks for reminding us about it.)

Yes, you are right, he had to change songs because his song was not on the list for acceptable songs. It's a good thing anyway, he will have to sing a lot of different songs, many of which will not be in his comfort zone.

I'm glad they put Tynisa through.

This is going to be a great year, so far we really have not seen the Bikini Girl type of annoying personality or that guy who sang great when he was serious but wanted to be a comedian instead. Can't even recall his name... guess he didn't  become famous.) It seems that we will have a much better group of singers and while I have to eat my words about losing Simon, the new judges are making AI exciting again!

They are bringing excitement and life to AI. And I love that they interact with the singers.  :yess:

Simon never would have approved of going on stage or singing with them as they perform.
