I enjoyed that moment too.  She is from the Seattle area which is my home area but I will not vote for her.  When you state your political preferences, I no longer will respect your art.  You really have to keep your opinions neutral.   :groan:

She seems too proud for me. So what if you're a White House Intern and a Harvard Student?? It's not like her audition was amazing or what, as compared to other great voices we've heard in other seasons.

I realized what's missing from these auditions.. we're missing memorable auditions.. good and bad ones.. the ones which we'll remember even after many seasons later.

I like ugot's auditions! :hearts:

So...no bad costumes? No lousy singers? Nice, helpful judges?

And sheer unadulterated TALENT??

I think I may just have come back to Idol.

ALL of ugot's were fabulous!

I couldn't take the sniping and the over the top faux stuff the last seasons.....but if this is how it is going, I may be in...

WERE there bad auditions too? Or is there some serious pre-screening going on? ???

There were some bad auditions, but they don't focus on them.. they put them all together at one go... maybe for like 5minutes, then they'll show 15minutes of good stuff. I remember the good people more than those bad ones.

:hearts: :hearts: i love the new judges jmo it will make idol stay for a while. steven is funny j lo is awsome and i think randy is trying to play the simond roll of bad cop, we will c so far his trying is a little anoying. i am so happy they r showing bk storys and good auditions, i was 1/2 watching till they got to hollywood for the past 9 yrs.
to answer the question on auditions i have friends who have been trew the process and frist u go to the big audition in like nashville or where ever, there they have judges we don't c and thease booths set up u get in a line at the booth or stall with a random person judgeing u, i know a season 6 contestant who got to 4th place , he whent trew this process 3 yrs in a row before he got past it. any way if u get picked frome there u go bk to the city u audition in for a call bk ,and sing for more random judges, if u get trew that round and get another call bk u go to the last round where u go before what we c on tv. u have to where the same clothes for every audition for editing, so it seems like it is all one big day but it is not. i think the whole process takes like 3 or 4 months..
tv junky needs help!!!!!

My favourite of the lot -

He is an excellent singer and his audition brought tears to my eyes. I think he will do very well in Hollywood.

They have concentrated on the good singers this year, and as Tory said, there are lots of back stories and many of the ones we've seen so far are 15 and 16. Only a few of the rejectables.

It was always better with Simon. He's the only reason I used to watch the show.
