CONGRATULATIONS
NAT AND KAT!!

:nana :yikes :partie: :congrats: :luvu:  :cheer3: :luvya: :bounce :jumpy:

I'm downright happy it's not Lyn and Karlyn, Dustin and Kandice or Jaime and Cara!

It's Nat and Kat, best all-female representative we've got in the finale! Brooke and Claire did an awesome job too! Too bad they got to the helicopter task third!

Who would have thought! Nat and Kat were first throughout the leg! No positions changed for what!

Whooohoooo!

EDITED: Will add in the title after awhile. Don't want to spoil it for anyone!

I think the key to their victory was taking their time to choose the right taxi driver. Kudos!

This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move

Exactly! They didn't just get into a cab! I'm just in shocked that after so long, Jill and Thomas didn't bother to tell their cabby to STOP so that they can look for another cab!

And the funny thing is, there are so many cabs outside Rose Bowl and they didn't bother to CHOOSE a good one! And they didn't even bother to ask their cabby to bring them to a HOTEL!!

Congratulations to Nat & Kat! After 17 seasons, we now have an all-female team win the whole thing. And I have to say, they couldn't have casted a better pair of women to take that place in history. I can't begin to describe how impressed I was by their determination and will to push through until the end; overcoming fears, and for Nat, the challenges of racing as a diabetic. Before this season ended I had put it up there with one of my favorite seasons to date. With Nat & Kat as the winners, that just made this season just a bit more special.

Again, Congratulations Nat & Kat, you deserve it!  :cmas9

Me. My brother was like you were clapping and everything. I was telling him I've been with this team for a long time. I liked Brook and Claire from day one but by leg 3, Nat and Kat had won me over and they became my favorites. They're just classy women and they truly played their own game and it worked out in the end.

And just what's wrong with those other three you mentioned, Joab?

Happy to see Nat & Kat win. Of course, they follow Zab & Joe Jer as the 2nd all-female team to win a TAR.
Third.  Patricia & Sane won the only season of Brazil's version.

Glad to see Nat & Kat win.  Would've preferred Brook & Claire, but Nat & Kat winning is definitely fine by me, especially after this great leg!

Oh. I think it has been the best Finale I've ever seen. The team I liked the least, 3rd Place; good locations, helicopter rides, great tasks.

PS: Before this leg who knew that all the Pitstop greeter had worn a hat?

I'm so unbelievably happy to finally see not only an all female team win the race but the team that I'm rooting for from the beggining crossing the finish line in first place... I'm so happy and proud of them... Facing their fears, been determinated, efficient, been a supportive team mate... I'm just so glad they are the winners of this season... It's been a long time that my favorite team win a race without knowing the results (Season 7)

Congratulations... this is just amazing!

 :cmas23 What a Christmas Miracle  :cmas23

BTW You don't know how difficult was to not to come here to see who won the race before watching it... don't know how much inner force took me to not to read tweets, facebook status, every kind of social network related to the race was banned for me during the whole night.

Oh. My. Goodness. Gracious.

My time zone is about 12 hours away from Eastern time. Between periods, I borrowed my teacher's iPhone to check the wikipedia article. It said Jill and Thomas won.

When I saw this thread, I was jumping up and down.

Dustin and Kandice are tied with Nat and Kat in winning 4 legs out of the race. BUT Nat and Kat won the whole race as well, so Nat and Kat are considered to have the upper hand. And there's one thing in Nat and Kat that Dustin and Kandice lack, which is the ability to stay calm, cool and collected at ALL times. I love Dustin and Kandice, but for me, Nat and Kat have just topped them. ;)

Thank you. I am sick of people giving all these backhanded compliments to Nat and Kat. Who cares about Dustin and Kandice? Not only did they lose twice, it took them going on The Amazing Race the second time to get 4 wins and in the final 3. Nat and Kat grabbed the 5th and most important win so they are the better team.  :cmas22

I totally agree -- although I have a slightly better track record when it comes to picking winners from the get-go.  I picked Chip & Kim in TAR 5, Uchenna & Joyce in TAR 7 and the Linz Family in TAR Family Edition either from the get-go or very early on and Tammy & Victor were my co-favorites with Jaime & Cara in TAR 14 early on as well.  Anyway, the final leg was the epitome of what Nat & Kat brought to the race -- which was a calm, cool and collected attitude.

I don't think I'm gonna change my sig nor my avatar for a great while. They are just what all of us needed. They've taught us how to behave when things go bad, how to act when you don't know what to do, how to take care of every little thing, and how to act in every single moment of our lives with no bickering to anybody. That's why none of the teams have reasons to hate them (including Chad & Stephy andthe Volley Girls). I'm just extremely happy, and can't stop watching at their arrival to the Finish Line!!

PS: I also love Brook and Claire saying: "Brook and Claire, you're the first all-female team ever, to win... THE AMAZING RACE" while being in the cab..."

I love your avatar & signature as well.  And I agree -- Nat & Kat are great teachers on how to act in various situations.

I also love Brook & Claire's comments -- because they are half-true.  An all-female team was the first all-female team ever to win THE AMAZING RACE -- but it was Nat & Kat who heard the great news, not Brook & Claire.

I don't think I'll ever not be happy about this win. After this Unfinished Business season I think I'll still be thinking about Nat and Kat's victory. It also helps that people are still mentioning them in articles. They have posted two new articles about them on their Facebook fan page. One is from a newspaper in Asia and the other is from what I would guess to be a diabetes newsletter.

As a amateur debater, I will rebutt the cons side before ending discussion about D&K.

First of all, thank you everyone for adding to my posts.  I think Nat and Kat truly deserved to win The Amazing Race. I truly mean it. Congratulations to them x374174979420589590!!!!!  :cmas9

I am sorry for talking about Dustin and Kandice in this thread, I promise this will be my last post about them.

Back to my points, by formidable, I meant that no all-female team will ever top Dustin and Kandice's performance, are you people clear with that? Nat and Kat's placing average is 3.1, D&K: 2.92
I never said they should win the Amazing Race. Nat and Kat deserved to win because they played the game smarter.

However compared to Nat and Kat, these girls are just as calm with the exception of flipping out on the final leg. Plus they used their second chance to race very well. They didn't win due to luck but like Nat and Kat, they are extremely smart racers. Nat and Kat won because they were smart enough to keep their lead. Dustin and Kandice lost due to luck. If it weren't for Eric and Danielle becoming a team, they just might've won.

Third, unlike Nat and Kat, they won more legs than them, 6 legs in an entire career (In my opinion, Nat and Kat did not win 5 legs because of the fast forward. To me, a FF is like cheating on the race and to truly win a leg, racers must complete the detour and roadblocks plus other miscellaneous tasks). In addition, Nat and Kat came close to being eliminated twice with one time nearly being non-eliminated.  D&K? no fighting for elimination in all-stars but came close to elim. twice and got eliminated in 4th due to bad luck.

Anyways, my point is: Nat and Kat are the true all-female winners who deserved the million dollars on the amazing race but in my opinion, no all-female team will ever top Dustin and Kandice's performance in a season (2.92), enuff said :)

Thank you and have a merry christmas  :cmastree

I appreciate your statement although Dustin and Kandace are the top performers from all the female teams, but you still recognize about Nat and Kat's victory and outsmarting plays in the race.  I think just for me,  that Nat and Kat were the only Taxi Smart Strategists of this season, and i can't believe that even if you're in the US, you will still encounter some language barriers which Jill and Thomas ended up to and i myself was stunned even though i'm not from the US.

I think that Nat & Kat have been the best team amongst all of this season, and maybe one of the strongest team EVER (no matter M/M, M/F and F/F team).

With taxis, they made wonders. You remember their first place in Hong Kong, beating Jill & Thomas in the raxi ride? They were smart enough to choose a driver that knew where they were going. In the final, that was the best thing they could do, and that taxist worths a million.

They've got the best psyche abilities I've ever seen. I was afraid that they would ever do something like Mika in the Dubai Leap of Faith; no. They were able to beat all their fears such as heights (TWICE), eating a sheep's head and eyeballs, and they kept on being friendly to EVERYONE in the game.

They are one of the only teams who did the best choice at the U-Turn. Not only Chad and Stephany could be hard enemies, but they also kept Brook & Claire in the Game. Hadn't they U-Turned them, the small distance between the 4 girls and C/S in the Roadblock, would have ended in a F/F elimination. And N/K weren't hoping that to happen.

In the end, what else do we need to say? That they should be in a winner edition? OF COURSE!
PS: In case there ever was a winner's edition, it would obviously feature these two. They would be the race's only F/F team, and they could be the first ever team to get the million twice. I'm now rooting for producers to cast them,

Love them day after day.
Busy, but will come back <3
