I'm in Sydney, but with school tomorrow (and three periods of Maths to sit through) sadly I probably will be missing all the fun.

But I cannot believe we are having another All-Stars season! I actually enjoyed the first one (apart from the catastrophic ending ) so I might just love this one too (fingers crossed that TAR13 has some representation - my chioce would be the Divorcees or Terence & Sarah).

Hope we have a great season, and maybe I might something fishy around here! I certainly hope Sydney is the destination!

I do think that there will be 2 legs in Australia, and a leg really close to Australia, (ie Indonesia or New Zealand), take season 13, 14, 15, 16 into example.

I know we are just speculating, but guys we have no clue where the first destination is. Australia would logically make sense, but our fantasy routes usually don't happen. We have to keep all possibilities open, and not just come to a conclusion that its Australia.

I hope you're right. There's parts of Australia I'd love to see on the Race for the first time (Tasmania for instance) because taking a bunch of (for the most part) experienced travelers and Racers and throwing them in a major English-speaking city on their first leg is kind of... underwhelming, unless you come up with truly killer tasks. It's just not as big of a shock to their systems as other destinations in the area could be.

I loved the All Stars Season up until the conclusion, it would have been one of my favorite seasons ever if it weren't for the dismal winners, mostly because of its the destinations. Mauritius! Madagascar and Mauritius were not on the all stars season they were on season 10.

since there are few f/f teams, i think that a f/f team won TAR17

I've been thinking that either Brook & Claire or Nat & Kat have won TAR 17 for quite some time now.  So I agree with you -- one of those two teams won.  And I'm sure hoping it's Nat & Kat -- they're my favorite team (sorry, Mike4lyf)!

Well, we have K/V looking at Australia books, AND a TSA employee saying that K/V were thru security for the Qantas flight....but you can choose not to believe that if you want of course.

Producers timed it perfectly Monday means a less chance they will be seen as opposed to sunday.

As far as I understand they are on 108. It should land in a little over two hours.

QF 108 is 2 hours and 15 minutes from anticipated arrival.
OF 12   is 2 hours and 50 minures from anticipated arrival.

Is the information that all the teams are on just the one flight (108)? I think that is what is confusing at the moment. Or is it that since we don't have confirmation of the other teams (besides the three initially tweeted) we don't know if the remaining as yet unconfirmed teams are on that flight or which other flight they may be on.  What I am reading in the various threads makes me think that is what folks are not completely clear on. (And for the moment, I count myself among them.)

My spec is next leg in Melbourne (lots of flights), then Bali, then another Indonesian destination, and then a leg in India.
