^ It's usually easier just to edit your posts.  :cmas16

Also, given the whole '5 continents' edict, we either go to Africa or SA soon. Might I recommend Angola? Surprisingly well connected, but still rough around the edges from a travel perspective.

I agree! If they remain within Luanda its do-able.

Prophet, countries that have wars or are at a risk situation will never be visited. Chad is on that list.

What about Sao Tome and Principe?

Prophet instead of asking one at a time list all the countries that you want to ask about at once. :cmas16

I'm just trying to see how many times you'll reply to my "useless" posts!  :cmaslol

I like this route;doubt the prodcuers would go to so many far flung locations however.

Someone on another forum posted the TAR19 route. He said he knows someone from the TAR production team. Sounds like a nice route, what do you guys think?

All I can tell is that it looks like a prototypical route that anyone could come up with. However that does not prove it right or wrong.
At least the creator avoided obvious mess ups by including the correct number of legs and a basic choice of countries. It is not an obvious fake anyway.

I will say that I like the route, but I don't think the production team would come up with a route so far in advance. TAR19 in all likelihood won't even be filmed until next May, so while they must have done some scouting for the race, I doubt they would have a concrete route yet. In addition, since TAR19 would be filmed in the summer in the Northern Hemisphere, I doubt that they would film so many legs in the Southern Hemisphere during their coldest months of the year, especially leg 1 to Buenos Aires (yes, I'm assuming that TAR19 will be eastward).

Remember that someone posted on Wikipedia that a TAR producer left the TAR17 route behind in a restaurant on a napkin, which included a leg 1 drive from Seattle to Vancouver, double legs in Hungary and Australia (by which I mean two legs in that country, not TBC legs), and another visit to Dubai. None of it ended up being true. We can't really jump to any conclusions about TAR19 so soon; we haven't even seen TAR18 yet! :)

Well said. It just doesn't make sense. What on earth was that nonsense about napkins? At least this makes more sense than that!
