source response: It was the girls who I booked flights for, they were in 2nd place at that stage and the flight I put them on had them arriving into Sydney 1st by themselves (although I believe there was only a 30min gap between all the teams arrivals in Sydney)

source response: what i saw was 3 or 4 different teams getting out of taxis and going into this sports feild area next to the sydney anz stadium. where they had to do a chanllenge involving trapeze. this happped on the 22nd of june, around 9 pm. sorry but i didnt take any picture and i cant describe them for you.

⁷ My sister spotted a flag this morning at a set of lights near where we live. We're fans of the show and she planned a Amazing Race challange for my 21st, so the flag caught her attention and made us wonder what was going on. We followed the markers and signs to a property out the back of Maudsland on the Gold Coast. There were street signs put in for a place that we've never heard of and know aren't normally there. They've gone to a lot of trouble to replicate our road signs.  Link

I think that the next leg is still in Australia but not in Sydney anymore.  really hope they will not take a flight and instead drive to their next destination s that Jess & Lani and The Richards can still mantain their 2 Hour lead. The editing of this episode kinda sucks because they REALLY make the teams like just behind each other. I'm dissapointed however, this is I think the only time that Jess & Lani could be first and its a TBC  . In this leg I am not VERY Confident however that my Final 3 Prediction CAn be true. Richards, Jess & Lani and Michelle & Claire. but, you never know

TBC = Virtual Pitstop. There's a big TBC at the end too.

Remember i said there has got to be a NEL on one of the 3 Australia/New Zealand legs? Looks like i'm right about this. And there are indeed 12 legs, just that one is a TBC! So that spells 3 NELs and 1 TBC!

On Jess and Lani coming in first and deprived of it. Well, i guess they're still happy with it! They will now have even more motivation to go further.

On Detour before flying to Australia - LAME.

...they had to pick up campervans @ QT airport and get their next clue from QT events centre.
On Monday they did something at coronet peak and then had a goal kicking/rugby challenge with some All Blacks and children before finishing up with a pitstop. Unsure if this was an elimination stop but 6 teams started Tuesday, they had to do a sheep mustering challenge and something else, then post a letter at the post office to get their next clue to head to the airport and onto Sydney.
...I believe there was only a 30min gap between all the teams arrivals in Sydney) .Once they arrived at Sydney they had to find Circular Quay & find a man with a brolly for their next clue, thats as far as I know...

1st team was a couple of American (i think) dudes, the chicks in 2nd, a well spoken Asian couple was 3rd, only caught a glimpse of 4th & 5th but last place was two Asian girls who seemed to be struggling and didn't seem to be great with English. I also know the team that came into town 5th had some troubles, drove the wrong way down the main street, got stuck panic'd etc and ended up trying to do a u-turn on the main street and had to get help from a local to get the campervan off the main street, so they were penalized for allowing someone else to drive their car as well as for breaking the law by driving down the main street so they would have been struggling to stay in it.

This is the post I was referring to. I think this hasn't happened. We haven't seen penalties for the 5th team (pardon me, it's not the last team who was penalized, but rather, the 5th team).

I really loved this leg. First, I was laughing at the teams ski (or attempt to). Ethan and Khairie and Sunaina and Dimple were so funny doing it! Then there was the sheep Detour... I couldn't stop laughing when Ethan actually said to the sheep, "You, come here!" LOL!!!

Three cheers for Jess and Lani! They did so well this leg and I'm really happy for them. They started the race at the back of the pack, slowly got the hang of it, and led this leg. I just really love their positive energy on the race, how they're always so happy and excited about everything. They remind me of Brook and Claire, just not as competitive. The only bummer for this leg was that it was a TBC. I would really have loved to see Jess and Lani win a leg... =( But I saw the TBC coming, when the episode was ending yet teams weren't shown checking in yet. Oh well... I hope that Jess and Lani will have their turn at first place for real!

I'm not sure I'm liking Ethan and Khairie too much now. Perhaps Sunaina and Dimple are not getting along well with the other teams. But the former didn't have to laugh at them crashing into the pole at the ski task. Hmm. I don't know, but Ethan and Khairie seem to be getting the Nick and Starr edit. They have their sneaky, evil ways, but are still really popular. I still think they'll win but seeing that they're so evil, I'd rather have the Richards win. Yes, these guys are competitive and could make the show boring by winning many legs. But at least they're doing their own thing and haven't really done anything annoying or evil. Just my two cents' worth.

I must say that this was an exciting leg though. The 4 teams trailing were all so close to one another. The TBC saved Hussein and Natasha, otherwise they'd have been eliminated straightaway. I must say, the Roadblock's really hard. It's like the one in TAR 8. Kudos to everyone who did it! Hee.

I must say that I somehow agree with your observations. I am starting to get annoyed at the Malaysin team. The Nick & Starr "evil" edit for me goes more to Jess and Lani, in the sense that their comments about the other teams are ruthless, albeit being hilarious at the same time. They seem to say honestly what they think of other groups.

As for Ethan and Khairie, I have this inkling that they might just not  make it to the finals, with Michelle and Claire taking their spot instead.

Would we see another intersection this leg (as seen with the photos of Team Malaysia and Team Singapore working together? Or is this just a case of two teams helping each other out?

Even though I'm from the Philippines I'm also rooting for Michelle & Claire, I have a knack on supporting very  young teams. Obviously I'm also rooting for The Richards and Jess & Lani! With the 2 Hour Lead I hope those 2 teams keep their lead.  Do you think the bug eating task is a roadblock? because I guess not because I think the roadblock is the car driving thingy..

Would we see another intersection this leg (as seen with the photos of Team Malaysia and Team Singapore working together? Or is this just a case of two teams helping each other out?

I'm just rooting for Michelle and Claire. Singapore all-female teams made it 7th and 4th place in 1st and 3rd season. Michelle and Claire needs to make it to top 3!!

Even though I'm from the Philippines I'm also rooting for Michelle & Claire, I have a knack on supporting very  young teams. Obviously I'm also rooting for The Richards and Jess & Lani! With the 2 Hour Lead I hope those 2 teams keep their lead.  Do you think the bug eating task is a roadblock? because I guess not because I think the roadblock is the car driving thingy..

I hate the Malaysians this episode.

They laughed when Sunanina and Dimple crashed on the skiis (especially when one crashed on a pole), I mean people could be hurt like that.

And the fat one tries to be funny all the time and failing miserably.

It seems like both TAR and TARA detectives had trouble in uncovering the finale, as no one knows who will win. For this episode, I think the one I posted before might be the order of finish:

Quite possible, but on the contrary, I think at some point, there will an "hours of operation" which can affect the teams, as we saw how Richards, Jess/Lani, Michelle/Claire were seen together in the bug-eating

loved this leg. there was a lot of driving and i think this helped jess and lani a lot. they were near flawless on this leg. Go Philippines!

Nope, the next leg will be happen in both Jakarta (WIkipedia said that - but not proved yet) and Lombok. From the preview, I recognize the cemetry task was in Lombok, and the diving task was in Lombok too.. So I think they must first fly to Jakarta and from Jakarta they'll get the clue to fly to Lombok...

Okay, it was just a mediocre episode. The editing of this whole episode was very slow paced, but the moment you hear Dimple and Sunaina going the wrong direction one and a half hours back, you know they're screwed. I think if there's more self-driving task on the first few legs, these two will be in trouble. And i'm glad they're gone. Because the race is an all-rounded race and if you are not able to drive well, then you should be eliminated.

And this brings me to the point that i'm damn glad Hussein and Natasha are still around!

And i'm still rooting for Claire and Michelle...

LOVEEEED IT THAT JESS AND LANI WON THE LEG. O M G. They technically "came in first" on two legs. Perhaps Australia is a place they're very familiar with.. but still, it was good showing and they deserved it!!!

...............my ideal final three would be Jess and Lani, Claire and Michelle and Hussein and Natasha... but you know that won't come...

I'm just waiting for the next few episodes for either Claire and Michelle/Jess and Lani and Hussein and Natasha to be eliminated.....

And then i'll wait and see whether the Malaysian boys or the Philippines boys win the whole thing.

FINALLY! Jess & Lani did it 2 times! The 2 Philippines Team are on the top of the game right now! I pity Sunaina & Dimple  they were Final Four Material! BUT! Hussein & Natasha are very good though! They manage to avoid elimination 5 TIMES! Even after taking a 4 Hour Penalty! The Malaysian Boys seems to be a bit quiter now finally Ethan stopped talking xD This was a PERFECT Leg for Jess & Lani! Kudos to them!

This was one of my favourite legs all season! Yay, yay, YAY that Jess and Lani got their first place! I was bummed when they came in first last leg and it was a TBC. When they started this leg strong, it was exciting watching them, seeing if they'd keep their lead or lose it. And they kept it all the way to the pit-stop. I'm so happy for them! And I'm impressed by these two girls. They struggled the first few legs at the back of the pack, slowly got the hang of the race, and finally came up strong. They may be party girls, laughing throughout the race, but they've shown that they have their competent side. I hope they maintain it! Love these girls to bits, they're just so fun to watch. I'm actually liking them over Claire and Michelle now, but I still love both teams.

I loved the Giant Drop task. Looking at the teams trying to spot the flag while not knowing when it would drop, that was nerve-wrecking. I felt nervous for the teams looking at them, what's more the people who were actually experiencing it. It must have been SCARY. But it was a cool task.

I loved how the Bush Hunter Detour seemed so easy (to me as well) that everyone picked it, and realised that they couldn't do it and had to switch. I thought that placing the eating task at the end was a little odd though. It was a good task, but it just felt like it didn't belong there.

I love the fact that Hussein and Natasha are still in the race. They've been bringing up the rear more of the time since the race started, and are still struggling now. But it's just amazing to see how they made the final 5. I thought that they'd last at most till the final 7, but they surprised us. We'd have thought that they were screwed this leg by them consistently being in last place. But Sunaina and Dimple got lost, and there they had their chance. Yay for Hussen and Natasha!

Too bad for Sunaina and Dimple... With only 6 teams left, any mistake made exponentially increases the chances of being eliminated. And they made a grave one by being hopelessly lost. That sealed their fate, they couldn't blame anyone. Their parting speech was really sweet though. Awww.

I love this leg! I love Jess and Lani! I love Claire and Michelle!
