  • Is it really that time again?
Seen at DOMESTIC terminal on the morning of the 15th

Domestic may simply mean they are heading back to J'Burg before going elsewhere. I'm not hugely familiar with airports in Cape Town, but I believe they don't do much in terms of international flights.

UPDATE: The reporter said teams will come here next week and race in Haifa and the northern parts of Israel. Soon the show will be uploaded to the website and I'll post a link to it.

The show is called "Good Evening" (the Israeli entertainment news show) and the episode has just ended. I am hoping they will upload the episode to their website today. As soon as the episode will be uploaded I'll post it here.

More news (I guess you probably know that): There WILL  be a 2nd season of TAR Israel.
There are lots of promotion on tv and they asking people to register (it costs 50NIS=15$ to register for the show)

Translation from: 01:57
Reporter: Next week teams from the Australian tv production The Amazing Race will land in Israel. Israel was chosen to be the 4th leg. Teams are predicted to race in Haifa and sites in the northern parts of Israel, when the specific places are yet unknown. So if Australian backpackers asking you for directions, be nice to them. Also, tv network RESHET started working on the new season of TAR Israel.

It could be the final 4th leg??

I doubt that the pitstop will be the Baha'i Shrine as the dome is currently under restorations and the exterior isnt very aesthetically pleasing...that said WRP does have a relationship with the Baha'i's (TAR 13 Baha'i House pitstop in India) so the possibility of visiting at least one of the numerous Baha'i landmarks is quite high if Haifa and or Akka are visited

Apparently, teams are now (most probably) on a direct flight to Frankfurt, Germany via Lufthansa.

There were 4 teams seen at the airport in South Africa, namely:

- 2 M/M Teams
- 1 young M/F Team
- 1 elderly M/F Team
