Quick thoughts:

Brooke is trying to kick the board so I guess this is a RB and the team member must do the kicking

I wonder if this is Brooke clowning around or does she really have to break the board.  The board is pretty far off the ground.

I really can't tell, it is possible that she selects the soldier and they do it.

It looks similar to the detour task in the South Korea leg of TAR 4. I would say, very similar.  It might well be the roadblock, but they have used tae kwon do before, and in South Korea, in less.

I just looked at that leg on wikipedia, I didn't watch that season but that leg looks really hard.

Hong Kong Airport

And,  it's dark !  That's not good for Nick & Vicky.  The other teams are released in bright daylight.

I should have made the connection when I saw the Line 6 sign in the first promo  :groan:. World Cup Stadium station (you can see the writing above Thomas' head) is on Line 6 (interactive map here). The boarding station is unknown.

The preview had been more or less hinting at it, but after seeing the confessional from Jill & Thomas, I'll bet they win this leg.  That's the only reason he'd say that, unless it'll be aired after he and Jill are seen leaving the Pit Start.

A soccer field ringed by a running track and four tall poles? This looks like the place. You won't find it on Daum, though; Camp Casey just doesn't exist: the whole camp area is replaced by generic vegetation. A line map of the camp here. About 22 crow-miles between the soccer field and the rafting bridge, so maybe not Detour choices.

nvm, Brooke looks like she's holding a RB card

#2 - Gwanghwamun Square  (main square in Seoul, you can just make out the statue of Admiral Lee Sun-shin in the center).  :snicker:

Can anyone figure out caps 20-25??

It is a bit unusual to have that many frames of just a location shot...so makes me wonder if it is significant somehow? ???

If Nick and Vicki departed in the dark while the other teams depart in sunlight, then that is consistent with the suggestion I made that Nick-Vicki may be 8 to 10 hours behind the other teams. I haven't seen anything to suggest to me that they catch up to the other teams in the caps.  Or am I missing something?

The instructions I posted earlier for Daum are still working; here is a shot
of the bridge over the whitewater task.

Thanks to Slowhatch's excellent bridge link... does it look as though teams are running down the parallel road?

Is this where they board the rafts?? ???

We know they were running 5-6 hours behind from spoilers...I was told by several of our sources...

What does it mean when B/C are wearing orange lifejackets? Are they from the rafting task? ???

Yes, I think so. The cluebox is in the middle of the old (unused) bridge; compare the speckled roadbed behind N/V to 53-54. And compare the railing in 19 to this.

If I'm not misheard the voice at caps 60, I heard Nat's voice there so N/K might be choosing the rafting...

No Statue Square. (:;)

Teams were released the same place they were after the TAR 11 HK leg, outside the Conrad Hotel in Admiralty.

I would deduce that the three leading teams had a longer wait for their flights to Seoul than Nick and Vicki once they were released from the pit stop, which would be enough to reduce the time difference.

Quote from: Prophet
Here's the road sign Brooke and Claire are driving by, I would guess they are driving from the airport to the first clue and ditch the cars somewhere.
I couldn't find the same sign; this is the closest approximation. I wonder what's out there in Guri. It's true that the 43 is a straight shot to Cheorwon (rafting), but if you're coming from the airport there are easier ways of getting there. And to get to Guri area they would have already passed the palace seen in the intro caps.
