Yay for Nat and Kat claiming first place! I was so happy when Nat got the Roadblock first. But they were rather slow at the Detour weren't they. Jill and Thomas did the other one, switched, and over took them at the Detour. I thought that Jill and Thomas were gonna snag their fourth first-place finish, but it went to Nat and Kat! The fight for first place was a real exciting one, with Nat and Kat and Jill and Thomas swapping positions constantly at the end!

I just love Nat and Kat SO much. Seriously, have we ever seen them being even a little bit frustrated with each other, with the race, or with any other team? At least I haven't. They're so nice to each other and everyone, and they're so calm, cool and collected it's unbelievable. LOVE the doctors!!! :hearts:

I must say that Brook and Claire have started to show signs of struggles. They started off the race a force to be reckoned with. Along the way, they did okay and towards the end, they're kinda constantly at the back of the pack. They've been the most consistent team in the race I feel, with their worst position being 6th place. But at this point, I think Nat and Kat and Jill and Thomas are the real contenders for the million. I still love them though! They're always so energetic and crack me up all the time.

I loved the Roadblock! Not only was the task great, I loved the energy too. It was nice to see Kat, Jill and Brook enjoying themselves on stage! Not to mention Brook and her getting the audience to cheer for Claire. Lol.

I was seriously pissed with Nick this episode. I actually expected Vicki to quit the Roadblock, but no, it was Nick who let the team down. He's such a disappointment. All the while he was chiding Vicki for slowing him down, for doing the Roadblock so slowly... But in the end, he was the one who gave up on the Detour. And it sucked to see him lie there and sleep while Vicki was working so hard. It was a painful moment to watch, I felt so sad and indignant for Vicki.

Now, with Nick and Vicki so far behind, I feel that it's gonna make the race for Final 3 so boring. Even if we know the eventual result, I'd prefer some drama and not have one team totally out of the running. But well, I just love this season and it'll be just perfect if Nat and Kat win. Geez.

Nick really knew his time penalties.  At the Roadblock he quoted 4 hr; at the Detour 6 hr.  I wonder if production (camera person) staff keep a rule book handy.

During Nick/Vicki's Detour, it would have been prudent to rest until the sun rose and then search again.  I think they would have finished in less than 6 hr.  If it had been an elimination leg, maybe Phil would have come to them for the Philimination.

They were likely not expecting the NEL.  Hindsight is always 20/20.

Isn't the time penalty for a Detour 24 hours?

I tried to listen over and over again but have no clue yet, their singing is awful...

For the detour, I really wonder if the time penalty has been changed because it seems like Nick/Vicki could not choose the other detour (Ding Ding) as they were so far behind and probably everything was closed at that time, but it would also be possible that the race rule just changed.

I am really surprised that not so many people taking pictures of teams at the Avenue of Stars, there are so many tourists every day!

As a local, I feel the tasks in this leg are quite interesting (especially the RB and the tram detour), but too many search tasks and not so much team interactions in this leg

Haha! It is quite catchy indeed!

On a side note, does anyone know the Karaoke song used in TAR 14, when the teams were in the car filled with transvestites? That song was kinda nice too.  :-[

You can look in that episode archive? I know it was identified but have no idea what it was called...

Brook & claire find dead guy, and choose Birds.

I think it's just wrong to refer to a legend and icon like Bruce Lee as "dead guy."

I don't know if it was a coincidence, but what would have been Bruce Lee's 70th Birthday was this past Saturday, November 27th, 2010, and he is buried in Seattle.

And Nat and Kat won 4 legs already. They beat the Dustin and Kandice record already.

Dustin & Kandice won 4 legs in Season 11, and 2 legs in Season 10. (Without any Fast Forward too)

DK :hearts: NK  :hearts:
Also their legs all had bunching points.  Before season 12, only one other leg of the race was linear without any points designed to have teams start on a more level footing.  Since season 12 they have had at least one leg each season with bunching, in fact one leg I think might have had three.  That really gives the first team a huge, huge advantage.

Imagine what teams like Eric & Jeremy, Colin & Christie, Rob & Brennan (just a few examples) could have managed if their legs didn't have bunching.
