My understanding and experience is...Yes you can delete your own tweets and they are removed from the public timeline.  However, if you have referenced someone in the tweet with “@xxx“, it will be removed from your timeline, but is still out there in the Twitter universe and can be searched.

yep...you can't edit them but you can delete them. Sometimes it is better to not post these in public, if you ever wonder, please ask me before posting. :(

From FB:

adstodudum Amazing Race keppendum i nedanjardarlestinni i Seoul i dag.

Which according to Google Translate, this translates to:

assisted Amazing Race competitors in the ground underneath the train in Seoul today.

The poster is from Iceland, but is visiting South Korea.  He has a photo album on his FB of his trip, but I can't tell if he took pictures of the TAR racers.

His friend then commented "hefdu endad i pyongyang an okkar"

which I believe means "they would have otherwise have ended up in Pyongyang" (Nth Korea)

(and no team pics atm, the last photos he uploaded were korea football shirt ones from yesterday)

And speaking of Pyongyang in North Korea, here's a blog site about a Californian woman who went to that country: http://www.lindsayfincher.com/tag/north-korea

I wonder if the racers would go there and then... imprisoned by the North Korean secret police? :-[ :groan: :ascared

I think you mean Pyeongchang.  It's a city in South Korea and it was a candidate for the 2010 and 2014 winter olympics.  Pyongyang and Pyeongchang sound very similar.

No. The post was on FB, and it was Pyongyang the person was referring to. I believe the original reference was said more in the meaning that the team were very lost, rather than suggesting that the subway line (or the teams) actually went to North Korea.

Since I seem to be getting several PM's a day from people thinking I can tell them "you'll tell ME, right??" more about the race or finale :groan: , I am going to say this ONCE MORE:

I believe the race ended on Tuesday June 15 in the LA vicinity. We have production definitively arriving at LAX that morning, we have twitters, we have plenty of evidence to say the race ended then.

The team is still working hard on this...it is possible we might know more about the location later, but at the moment? No.

Heee....you can stop cheering now CBS, good job!

Champagne, my treat.

Oh and if you are reading this from other forums/places in hopes of updates...

You need to go to the first post of the TIMELINE/SPOILER SUMMARY thread .

If it isn't there...then RFF does NOT "say". :funny:

What IS there is the most up to date info we have, it is constantly being updated with new information as we get it. Thanks to woden and Mrs Shrek for that incredible job!! :hearts:

If this person posts the pictures, that puts Sweden as a connecting point on the way to Denmark.

ETA: She is also saying it was the beginning of the month, which coincides with the timeline.

Slowhatch said this some time ago:

We always knew that some season they would lie to us (TAR12). We knew that someday the introcaps would go away (TAR14). And someday, maybe this season, maybe in the future, we'll be attacked by squads of trolls armed with baskets filled with red herring.

Sadly...it appears that the future is now.  :(

Aw, come on. We're dealing with this just fine.
Found out that Neobie in Chinese means "f*king awesome"! No, really. Look it up!

I found the following (translated from Swedish) as an anonymous comment on a blog entry about season 15:
Quote
They appeared in Kiruna today. But I do not know where they went. They jumped into a number of Saab 9-3x which were parked at the airport.
This comment was posted at 17.55 on the first on June 2010. The timing fits perfectly into the current time line.

Unfortunately the poster was anonymous so we can not really ask any followup questions.
