Other stops included France and the Seychelles.

"We have never been to that place before," van Munster said of the lush island destination off the east coast of Africa. "We were looking into going to Africa, but I couldn't find any countries that would fit into the entire scheme of the race, and i wanted to go to an original  place . It's very beautiful. It's very remote. It takes forever to get there."

If you scroll, down, this episode is called:

"Anonymous?"

Very, very weird. These titles are getting extremely random! :res:

i agree, if the editors continue to pick such uncreative episode quotes, i guess the next time, TAR won't get nominated for Emmy's

You never can tell about those episode titles until there's a context.

Exactly. I too don't like the sound of them, but until we know what's going on when they are uttered, we'll never know how interesting/creative they may be.

There is also a picture of Carol and Brandy reading a clue but from what I can tell it looks like it is from the first episode in front of the houses they painted I will see if I can find a good quality picture to bring over.

Carol & Brandy??, hmm, sounds like they were the team that doesn't make it to the finals?

Uh-oh. Monique and Shawne were featured in an article like this (Hamburg Teaser), and on the TAR Episode that follows (in Bariloche), they are eliminated. Hope it will not do the same as Carol and Brandy.  :'(

wow, could it be a roadblock involving team member climbing up the coconut tree to retrieve coconuts and their clue from above, seem pretty interesting to see the teams performing this task.

Regarding the title, there is a small island just off the coast near the airport called "Ile Anonyme." (Anonymous Island)  It's actually named after a ship.

Oh NICE chills!! Apparently it is tiny with one fancy resort...I think this may be where Brad Pitt took Jen for their honeymoon??

Quote
Anonyme lies approximately 700m off the est Coast of Mahe. Anonyme Island is a granitic island which got its name from the 180 ton ship Anonyme which stopped over en route to les Iles de France et Bourbon. The island is lush and a walk on pathways to the top, will afford superb views of Mahe. There are a few sandy coves which can be explored although some are not that easily accessible and can be prone to seaweed (June to September).
The Anonyme Island Resort is a small exclusive resort offering total privacy and isolated surroundings. Six luxury suites and one exclusive, presidential villa, are all air conditioned and comfortably furnished. All suites have air conditioning and ceiling fans, private bath and elegant decor. The villa has a private beach and swimming pool, two bedrooms, an office, Jacuzzi bath and a terrace with sweeping views.

Scuba Diving

At Anonyme reef diving is the main sporting attraction. Fish are unafraid of divers, partly because spear fishing is absolutely forbidden. The waters are home to more than 900 fish species and over 100 species of coral, and visibility enables perfect underwater photography conditions.

The Seychelles Underwater Centre, is a PADI 5 Star IDC Center, operates modern, safe dive boats from the Coral Strand Hotel on Mahe. They also offer introductory scuba lessons as well as complete certification and advanced courses.

Six resorts + a presidential villa (which I assume would be for the crew)? Sounds like a really convenient place to eliminate the 7th place team.
