  They are standing near the Alsterarkaden - a pleasant arcade in Hamburg with shops and cafes.

Do Jet/Cord get on an earlier flight? It looks real bright outside the windows!

Asking the experts (but yes, I will also check the timeline too :()

Since there is an intersection, is there a possibility that this a double-length leg as well or is it too early in the Race for that?

No, just a normal leg. The fifth leg has teams fly to France.

I think we're going to see some major flight scrambling next week. Should be promising.

Do you guys think that Jet/Cord will be massively screwed over by the Intersection? :groan:

Doing some math in the timeline thread (I'm really not sure about this, would love it if someone could do some double-checking!) I have them possibly arriving in Hamburg 9 hours earlier than the rest of the teams.

Wow, I never thought that the Intersection would rear its ugly head again... If Neobie's math is correct, I think they are going to have an extended pit-stop to avoid that...

  just to get things rolling... throwing this possible location for the bungee task...

only place in the Hamburg Harbour with this "running bond" pattern....
it's the Fischmarkt (parking?) near the river.

Note it's about 8 or 9 squares wide between the railings... only place on the Fischmarkt where this occurs.    :duno:

Looks like we have a lot to work with! Thanks Puddin and Sailing! :hearts: Public transportation!

1. I know it's not always indicative, but... British Airways?
2. Hamburg Central has the Philips sign... The "chandeliers" and huge balls are Christmas decorations.
3. Jet/Cord are walking along the Jungfernstieg.

Looks like we're back to the public transportation theme for this season.  FWIW, here are some useful links:

Searching for the Beatles via Metro? Excellent!

I also think that  the :jam: task is just a miscellaneous one.

 cool.... if they are going to Reeperbahn (Beatles Platz) via the S3 line, then it's a short trip from the Central Station.  If they take it in the wrong direction, then they end up on the wrong side of the river.

So do you guys think it's safe to assume that the pairings are as follows:

Detective/Cowboys
Team Big Brother/Brent and Caite
Brandy and Carol/Brothers
Allie and Steve/Joe and Heidi!

It is a subway they have to use I believe. I think that when Jordan says "We are done" it is just a tease and this will be a NEL leg.

It might be a train. I am going to stick with posting videos and articles and leave the detective work to the experts.  :lol3:

  CBS hay be jumping the gun here, as this is the ICE Inter-City Express (high speed) Train.  ...they will be taking the S-Bahn trains within Hamburg

I suspect that the teams may take the ICE train next week when they travel to France (in the spirit of public transportation).

ETA: mystery solved, the train has arrived at the Frankfurt Airport ICE station, where teams will continue on to France, next week.

Well, i hope so, cuz we know C/B stay in the race unless there is a run to the mat between JJ & C/B, which i hope not and i thought that Leg 5 was a possible NEL??? Do we know for sure???

Nice, Boingo! Could the clue have teams flying into Frankfurt this week, then taking the train to Hamburg?

The whole Jet/Cord arriving way early theory would have to be reworked completely... Going to edit the post in the timeline thread...

ooops, should have realized that Frankfurt is the gateway into Germany, not Hamburg.   :groan:  yep, ICE train from Frankfurt to Hamburg.    BUT... they might take a train to France next week also...  ;)

Hamburg-Altona or Altona is a railway station situated west of the city's main station and is the usual terminus for southbound long-distance trains. (ICE) services to southern Germany begin and terminate there.

:lol3:  looks like they then may take a taxi (shown in previews) to get to the INTERSECTION.

Where is the pub exactly? It could very well be in Frankfurt.

If they take the ICE train at the airport, then they never get into Frankfurt.  Besides, the pub/bar has a distinctive nautical theme, so it's got to be in the port city of Hamburg.

Why are Jet/Cord walking away from the Intersection?
