Hi ... I am new here :)

I thought Caite was going to turn 21 while she was on the race?

Yeah... and isn't she a little too "innocent" to be drinking?

She is old enough to drink in Germany:

My guess is that the Race may stick to US law, however...but who knows? Teenagers drink at that age all the time in Europe.

If they do, then it can't be a FF without ruling them out, can't be a Route info, can't be a RB, so would have to be a Detour option OR something only one person has to do. Hope Brent likes beer!!

She turns 21 this month.

could the beer drinking task possibly be a fast forward?

If they stick to US law, then prob not, since it wouldn't be fair to exclude them from trying for it.

And :welcome: to RFF to you both!!

The drinking age isn't dependent on citizenship or residency, so I don't think it should be a problem.

There was a time when I was younger when the drinking age among states weren't uniform; that was something the Republicans brought in during the Reagan Administration in response to MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving.) When I was younger different states and D.C. had different age requirements to drink alcohol == Georgia and D.C. were 18, Florida lowered it to 18 in 1971 in response to the 26th Amendment on the voting age, and other states adopted limits at 19 and 20, and other states kept it at 21. If you lived in a state with a higher age limit, you could go to an area where the drinking age was 18 and legally buy and consume alcohol there.

I know there was a task way back in a early season (probably in Germany) where one team had a member who drunk the beer almost as much as he spent getting the beer-filled steins to the right table; so drinking an alcoholic beverage per se isn't automatically prohibited on the Race, as far as I've ever heard, but I am concerned if the amount to be consumed is to be a large quantity, because binge drinking almost comes against a promise Elise made some seasons back about avoiding any more binge eating tasks after the fans really complained about it.

Isn't that Mike and Cord doing the bungee jump together?  It looks like Cord jumped with his cowboy hat on. How did he get it to stay on without falling off?

Yea it looks like Allie and Joe. In a confessional in Eppy 1, Joe said Heidi has a fear of heights, which would mean she wouldn't do it. And both Allie and Joe have only done 1 RB which would make them liable for this RB.

Man and woman... can't tell if Caucasian or Asian. Asian would imply Joe right?

But thought the cowboys both wore black:

And given how much we looked at jacket colors last leg, I'd say it's definitely Joe/Allie.

Just want to give y'all a head up about the beer part with Jet & Cord. We aren't allowed to have a drink just for fun during the race unless it is part as the task. Drinking is against the rule on the Race.

So, drinking beer must be a task.
I wonder when that changed as we have seen teams drink on flights before.

I'm thinking it could be a detour - both of the cowboys are drinking out of the boot in the screencaps - could the detour be something like "bowl or boot" ie. drink a boot of beer each or eat a bowl of  Labskaus or eel soup (or some other type of traditional fair)? :duno:

Based off of previous Intersections I strongly suspect a Fast Forward, which as always been paired with the Intersection (and of course that gives us an addition task).

The bungee should not be the FF because we more than one team jumping.  Once the FF is taken, racers get a note that it is gone.
