Isn't this Monique and Shawne at the Union Station bus stop in LA?

1220 Colton St, at the north entrance of Vista Hermosa Park. Now isn't Street View helpful!
(Well, if we need to put it down in black and white, Walt Disney Concert Hall is on the way to the nearest Metro station...)

Question: now that we know where the Racers started from, how does the location of the Hilton hotel where the first tweets originated on Jeff and Jordan fit in? (Might help see which teams were getting good directions to the trains.)

So its probably the bus the teams were taken to the starting line on - even though it looks the same colour as the FlyAway Bus.
I spent hours looking for those darn palm trees at LAX and the Patsaouras Transit Plaza... :groan:

And with the Super Bowl and the 90th NFL season finale next week, there are no breaks in television (for me at least).  Hard to believe TAR is almost here.  It'll be here before I realize it; time is flying as usual!

TAR in HD?  Meh.  That would've rocked, but one thing that's worse than no TAR in HD is no TAR.

Sounds like a Monique & Shawne quote, if I'm not reading it wrongly.

Could well be....but could just as well be someone else trying to get their own partner motivated!

It doesn't have to be Shannon. Anyone could say to their teammate 'COME ON!!!! Even Nanna is kickin' your butt!' thus the title
'We are the makers of music, and the dreamers of dreams. To roam the roads of lands remote, to travel is to live'.

Is this webcap recycled old stuff? I got a lot of hits for Blasmusik (oompah, more or less) for Puerto Varas, but few hits for Bariloche. I tried looking for the registered silks at the Santiago Club Hipico--no joy. I don't recognize the bridge as well.

I think you're right, it's llamas. A graphic here. Another difference: llamas have curved ears, alpacas straight ears. So judging by this cap, I'll agree it's llamas.

None of those look familiar to me, although the band could have been the band in TAR13's Bolivia leg...

So...does anyone recognize the start line? It definitely doesn't look like the Disney Concert Hall.

Almost looks like a college campus to me...course we already figured out that it WAS in fact the concert hall back one page.

:'(

Yea, no HD really is :'( but if I put on my HD CBS channel and expand to full screen it actually looks pretty good...and definitely much better than regular CBS. HD Cameras may still be a little too heavy for the staff to carry for an extended period of time but, then again, what do I know? lol

CBS did air that full promo last night during CSI: New York.

I watched it on my HDTV on the local CBS station's HD channel, and it looked absolutely gorgeous.
