Jenn Lyon: Survivor Palau has died.
« on: January 20, 2010, 10:15:22 AM »

Jenn Lyon, fourth place finisher from Survivor Palau, has lost her battle with breast cancer. She died yesterday 1/19/10 at age 37, becoming the first Survivor to die.

Jenn was one of the few Survivors who ever left the game without being voted off. She lost to Ian in a fire-starting challenge.

Our hearts and sympathy go out to all of her family and friends.

Here is a video compilation of her Survivor moments:

And her she talks about her cancer:

May she eternally rest peacefully....it's so sad, being the first out of 21 seasons and only being 37! DAMN YOU, EVIL C!

I know Ethan is going to take this hard....he's a huge advocate against cancer having gone through it itself.

Terrible, absolutely terrible. Especially with people who are in there 40s,50s,60s,70s and Rudy at 83.

She was incredibly nice and a great woman and she will be sorely missed. R.I.P Jenn, my heart goes

out to her family and friends. So sad when we lose a Survivor or Amazing Racer!

I feel so sad and devastated after reading this. She was one of the nicest Survivor to be on the show and she fought real hard and played a clean and fair game in Palau. Prayed for her before a few years back when i learnt about her cancer condition... and finally after all the struggles... she left all of us. I'm pretty sure she has gone to a better place, where she will not feel all the pain she felt while alive with cancer. My condolences and prayes goes out to everyone who loves her.

RIP Jennifer. You will always be in our hearts.
