TAR7: Debbie Cloyed & Bianca Smith - Lifelong Friends
« on: December 19, 2009, 12:12:28 AM »
Okay, since we're in the off-season, and spoilers seem slim, I thought I'd create a little diversion for us. Let's discuss the teams from a past season who don't have threads. How about TAR 7?

DEBBIE & BIANCA
Lifelong Friends

Debbie & Bianca are best friends from Los Angeles, California and Woodbridge, Virginia, respectively. Bianca is a high school teacher and Debbie works as a photographer. Their primary motivation for participating in the Race is to travel the world with each other and put their combined traveling skills to the test.

Bianca graduated from James Madison University with a B.A. in International Affairs and Spanish Art History. She currently works as a high school teacher and is finishing her masterís degree of Education (with a concentration in multicultural studies). Biancaís favorite hobbies are traveling, reading and going out with friends.

Debbie, who graduated summa cum laude from The College of William and Mary in under three years, is currently a freelance photographer in Los Angeles. A wild child at heart when she was younger, Debbie now enjoys going to art museums, surfing and reading classic literature.

These best friends are well traveled, and both have lived abroad throughout their lives. They feel their years of traveling has prepared them for this moment, and they are ready to race.

What they showed to us in the first leg was what all-female-teams-fans were hoping... Not to mention what we felt after leg 3 </33
Survivor Kagayan: #ChaosKass [Final 6]

Yeah, but then they pulled a Heather/Eve move with massive overconfidence preventing them from the obvious conclusion that to get to Argentina you have to turn east to get over the Andes. If they had survived that leg, they might have ended up displacing any of the F4 teams except maybe Rob/Amber. we'll never know.

They probably ended up better known thanks to the greatest comeback that never was.

What is with you saying that all the early boot teams had some sort of "huge overconfidence?" It was an issue of attention not one of overconfidence.

I was a bit shocked as well.

I mean they were smart and went to the hotel and got directions..
They passed Susan and Patrick who were at the service station
and still managed to miss the turnoff.

ahh well.

I spotted Bianca in a Swedish reality tv-show called Svenska Hollywoodfruar (Swedish Hollywood Wives), where she was personal trainer for one of the wives, Agnes-Nicole Winter. Agnes said that Bianca has many famous and rich people as her customers.  :)
