I think its a EL with probably Mika and Cannan going. Taken off EP1507 Thread.

Yes, I saw a blond girl and a husband, I saw two guys, They were the first to come. ( I assume Dan & Sam )
Then came the blond girl with a guy and after that came the basketballers.
The girl I saw was not as short and she looked as if she could be dutch. She was also attractive.
I've heard that there was a gay couple (two guys)
I have sources that tell me as well that there were six teams. So that must be true.
I've heard sources say that they heard (near the place where it happened) that the contestants came from the airport straight from Dubai

And of course thanks to the video that Boingo found, we know Tiffany&Maria, Matt&Gary, and Brian&Ericka are there as well.

Maybe Mika & Canaan survived this leg, but were too behind to the other teams so they weren't spotted.

  great, but the mosque was only useful in identifying the park where the trotter paddles his boat... any luck finding the other two building?   ;D  :res: :groan:

So that still leaves us with the waterpipe (hookah) task location (most likely also near the gold souk), and the two briefcase locations.  (:;) :knuckles: :meow:

Dutch and his souces and the media stated 6 team arrive in the Netherlands, we weren't there so have to take what the eyewitness states and leave it up to you all to decide.

Think the building has to be southwest of, not northeast of, the stadium...

A - Stadium, B - Indoor Sports Complex, C - Domed Building

Is X the building we want?

Found out that Neobie in Chinese means "f*king awesome"! No, really. Look it up!

I don't know why, but the two underlined statements seem to tell me they are not referring to the same couple. But the other sources say 6 teams, so that's that. Mika/Canaan are toast this leg. :(
I'm baaaaaack!

  Good job, puddin.    Neobie had it zoned in, just connect the dots...or in this case, look for the odd shaped building with the longest shadow.

:groan:  ok, now I see where you got the pix of the building (panoramio).  Turns out we didn't need to find the mosque after all, this pix would have confirmed everything last night.   :funny:  Just goes to show how just clicking the dozen or so "little blue" panoramio squares in Dubai Creek Park in GE would have saved a ton of time.     Lesson learned.    :knuckles:

...obvious now that the slim poles were stadium lights...  :snicker:

eragon,

Now there is a good prediction. I agree with you. I rate the probability in the 50% range that the second Dubai episode is either NEL or TBC. There are two NELs or TBCs left in this race. I expect one to be found in one of the 2 legs in Czech Republic. The other has to be somewhere. If you work backward from the Czech assumption, you need 3 teams exiting Prague, 4  (if Czech NEL) or 5 (if Czech TBC) exiting Talinn, 5 or 6 exiting Stockholm 6 or 7 and exiting Dubai 6 or 7. It could go either way.

Actually, I rate the probability of Mika and Canaan's elimination at 80%. The first leg NEL has pushed back the normal elimination pattern and probably costed the most out of the legs so far (what a waste). Additionally, sending them to Sequesterville is easier from Dubai than the Netherlands.

I see the next NEL somewhere in Groningen or Stockholm (though I want to say Sweden eliminates the poker girls to capitalize on the Switchback).

Great job!  :yess:  :jam: The boat was probably parked just across the street; if not this one, then something similar.

So maybe its an off switch - but more likely an anti nausea transdermal patch.
Which interestingly may explain Mika's behavior:

As Slowhatch pointed out - this is a raft - not an innertube.
So why isn't the trotter rowing his boat and why don't we see his legs hanging off the edge?

Has he broken through the bottom of the raft  :groan: - turning it into an innertube!

BTW - Challenger 2 specs say dimensions 86" x 45" x 13" and max. weight 253 lbs.

The few upscale marinas I have been in didn't take yoiu to the yachts in a yellow inflatable raft. They had upscale dinghies, lol. Plus Ericka looks 100% dry on the yacht...plus why wouldn't both team members be there??

I am thinking perhaps this is a separate roadblock from the yacht task and may have nothing to do with the yacht at all...

Am I missing something? ???

:groan:  Like puddin was saying, peach, the yacht is in Dubai Creek between the Marina and the Dubai Creek Park.  The trotter is in his boat, which shows the Dubai Creek Park in the background.  ergo, 1+1= trotter is very near the yacht..  We are drawing our own conclusions from this info.  The choice of inflatable boat is purely BVM/WPR/TAR decision.  Hope this clears things up.   ;D
