It looks like a clothes line. If he were looking at something past it, it would be easy to not see since the rope color blends well with the background. This could be the injury Jeff referred to as really scary.

I did this once many moons ago playing a youre it type game...running full tilt into a wire clothes line...it took me a month before I could move my neck normally...had to move my whole body to see right or left...so I would guess too that Erik is out......Roger

A HUNGRY TRIBE You would think this would be FOA< but if it relates to Galu's chicken flying the coop, then should be Galu, right?

The only ones on Galu with secrets would be the two who went to Galu and heard about the HII, unless there is something new. So that is Shambo and Yasmin, Now...how much does the chief know??

The ones on Foa with secrets would be Russell and Jaison knowing about the HII, and Mick clearly revealed last week he knew there was a Galu HII hidden there (in conf)

For a moment I thought that Galu would win yet another IC, leaving Foa Foa down to 5. But looks like Foa Foa takes the victory (for once) this time, and Yasmin is booted. As it is, Survivorfever has stated Yasmin being the most vulnerable, so guess Galu finally loses. Aww, no more winning streak!

Survivor: Samoa episode 4 detailed boot spoilers/ speculation
   Everything this episode, from the title (although the hungry tribe appears to actually be Galu, not Foa Foa as you'd think) to the preponderance of Galu coverage in the ads, seems to point to Galu finally visiting tribal council this week. (With our luck, it'll solely be because of a lame double-boot episode, or something).

   Most at risk, based on the same editing pattern we used (poorly) in Ep2, which predicted Liz or Mike would be the next people out of Foa Foa, would appear to be John, Yasmin and Russell S., who were all shown reacting (favorably) to Galu's immunity win in Ep3.

   Of these three, Russell S. is an obvious choice. True, Galu will have won four straight challenges under his leadership after their RC win, but Erik and Dave both voiced (private) doubts about his decision not to take a tarp in Ep3, and as outfrontgirl at Blows has documented, there's a massive downpour coming on the second day of this episode. Still, he is the chief, and it's not a job he volunteered for, so he might get a pass this first time. Give them a few more days to soak, however, and the tide may turn.
   The CBS press release may suggest more trouble for Yasmin, saying "A hungry tribe turns against the castaway who holds the secret to game-changing clues." True, this could also be Shambo, although Erik is shown helping her in the idol search at Galu camp, which doesn't seem like "turning against" all that much. Another bad omen for Yasmin, as tullfan2 points out at Sucks, is that Ben claims to have made up with her, suggesting some Ponderosa bonding (as with Betsy and Ben).
   Finally, there's overthinking, wind-direction lecturing, non-Olympic-caliber swimming John. He hasn't been seen much since the first episode, apart from doing well in both subsequent RC/ICs. So probably not this week's boot.

   We'd guess Shambo will be the decoy boot, based on her continuing storyline as the outsider underdog at Galu, and that the actual boot will be either Russell S. or Yasmin. Leaning Yasmin.

this just in cbs remakes disneys, apple dumpling gang. with tim conways role played by a russ-h, a down on his luck failed bank robber, finds a group of dumb ass girls, a redneck, an 2 dumb lazy folower men. russ tells them the sky is green, an the sea is red, they belive everything he says, so his gang is formed.

in the 1st capper russ steals the golden idol, letting a dumb girl the redneck an 2 old people get caught an booted. the gang still trust russ, so he comes up with a plan.

he goes to a rival gang the yoga chicken dumpling gang, he gets them to trust him frees there chicken burns there socks an steals there watter, an leaves.

rc-galu but the chicken flys the coup, an joins the season 3 chicken

Why wasn't Jeff there for RC? And this RC is kinda lame, it reminds me of the disc IC last season.. where Debbie was the last one to throw and she doesn't really care if she threw out of the range or not as long as she knocked out other competitors. That's how she won over Sierra and won the IC eventually.

In this case, i believe Dave won not because he aimed well, but because his priority was to knock out Russell's closest balls and he simply did that and won the challenge.

When has Survivor become so cheapskate with challenges? This challenge hardly cost any money..

Yay for having both a Reward Challenge and Immunity Challenge! Although I thought that the RC was lame, sending three people from each tribe to throw balls. The reward was fantastic though. Galu won by such a margin!

Hurray for Erik finding the HII! I'm really liking him now, he does his thing, pulls his weight around camp, just works hard and fights hard for challenges. But you know, it's gonna be really hilarious if both Russel H. and Erik aren't allowed to use the Idols 'cause they're found at the wrong places by the wrong people. It's gonna be the first season such a thing happens! And I wonder, since John was awake while Erik was looking for the Idol and the former knew it, I wonder if he followed Erik when he hid the Idol? That'll be another exciting moment, when Erik goes to look for the Idol, finds it missing, then John plays it sometime later. That'll be really dramatic, but I doubt it's gonna happen. Lol.

The IC was pretty interesting. John sucked in the water, but he's certainly great on the ground. And does anyone agree, that he's starting to look more and more like Ozzy? I felt so bad for Monica, she was giving her best. Yes, I'd much rather see Yasmin go, not because she's less sweet or something, but she's really not doing ANYTHING at camp and her attitude's terrible. Other than her blasting at Ben, I must say I didn't enjoy her much so was quite glad she's gone. Very egoistic parting speech too, she and Ben should be great friends.

Well guess this week they're giving Natalie a little more coverage, which is good, at least she's less invisible now. Galu is still pretty much invisible, people like Laura and Brett don't talk at all! I really hope to see more stories developing at Galu, alliances and the likes. For now, Mick, Shambo, Erik, Brett, Laura and Monica for the win!

I had those once when i was overseas in The Philippines. But we don't have that over here in Singapore! We're just so health conscious over here...

And, who else agrees that this season of Survivor has been very different? There's just a different feeling to it.. something "weird" about it which i don't know what it is.

Micronesia was one of my favorite seasons and season 8 gave me Romber so yeah, I'm a fan.

China was one of my favorite seasons and season 8 gave me Romber so yeah, I'm a fan.

I thought Survivor Micronesia was one of the best season of all times, with many surprises and a really unexpected all-female F4.

Haven't really watched Survivor Allstars, but i didn't like TAR Allstars because some teams that they picked to race weren't even allstars worthy, but the few that they had for Survivor Micronesia was good! (Cirie, Yau-Man, Parvati, Amanda..)

Hmm, time to get back on topic. Anyone realizes that Brett haven't spoken on the show yet? After an entire month of airing? Is he even on this season?

(Or did i missed his testimonial??)

Brett had the very first testimonial episode 1 before they ever made it to the beach. His name wasn't on screen. And episode 4 Jeffy actually spoke to him at TC once. Other than that Brett has been nearly invisible.

Hmm, perhaps this season's different in the sense that the producers haven't shown much strategising. We only see Russell H. and his humongous ego, tribemates complaining about one another, but we haven't really seen any solid alliance yet. And I feel that they're giving too much airtime to Foa Foa. Even though this tribe always goes to TC, Galu is pretty much not shown. Yeah, Brett doesn't seem to have spoken at all during the entire season, I only see him smiling.

Some strategising, please!
