I just read that Jane Lynch (Sue) will be singing "Physical" with Olivia Newton-John later this season.

Is this show great or what?!
She'll also be singing Vogue and wearing the infamous cone bra

:lol3:  I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen the preview. It IS a great show!!!

I didn't know she could sing, I'm looking forward to hearing her with Olivia Newton-John.  :keeta:

New cast member:

Teenage singer Charice gets Botox for 'Glee' debut
]Jul 19 08:54 AM US/Eastern

MANILA, Philippines (AP) - Filipino teenage singer Charice Pempengco says she prepared for her debut on the hit TV show "Glee" by getting Botox and an anti-aging procedure "to look fresh on camera."

The 18-year-old Charice, whose singing career rocketed after appearing on Ellen DeGeneres' and Oprah Winfrey's talk shows, underwent a 30-minute Thermage skin-tightening procedure and Botox to make her "naturally round face" more narrow, celebrity cosmetic surgeon Vicki Belo told ABS-CBN television.

Charice, in the same interview, said last week's face makeover was part of her big preparations for her appearance on the hit show's second season. She starts filming at the end of this month.

"All people will be anticipating how will Charice look? Is she good enough to pit against Rachel Berry? So of course there is tremendous pressure," Charice said.

Wait...18 y/o and she's injecting poison in her face already?!
The story so far:
In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move

I got a little shocked when I read it... IMO 18 is way too young to get botox!

That would be fun with a Britney Spears episode! Will they have Sue do her take on Britney?

I like a lot of comedies but I mostly watch the reality shows.

ow. I guess the "botox" term is not that accurate. Thermage should be. And I believe there's no injecting something to the face involved.

But, nonetheless, Charice Pempengco needed that. She's not ugly but she's not beautiful either.

But who cares about her face? IT'S HER VOICE THAT MUST BE JUDGED. For me, she has a very magnificent voice! Yay

IMO only people. Haha! As a fellow Filipino, I'm proud.

I'm excited for Charice to be on Glee! That just makes me look forward to hearing the covers more and more! I'm wondering though will she be a one-time thing or temporary? For an extremely popular recent international artist, having Glee tours and other international tours? How much break does she have?

But I'm excited anyways!  :hearts:

You should be proud of her Cocoa! She may not be beautiful as in Hollywood idea of beauty but she is cute and the girl can SING! She is going to give Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) trouble next season! REAL trouble.

I love Charice, TexasLady. I think:

1. I stated my post incorrectly, to make it seem I don't love her, or;
2. I misinterpreted your post TL. :lol3:

OFF-TOPIC:

Fellow Filipinos have a running joke regarding Charice (well, from those who hate her and loves glee) that speculates that Charice will just be a janitress making a cameo role for one eppy. :lol3:

Nah. I didn't think you meant anything derogatory.

I think Clarice will be really good for the show, but that is funny, making a cameo appearance as a janitor. LOL.. If that happened, she'd be "discovered" and put in the glee club.

Thanks for posting this!!  :hearts:  The new season kicks off Tuesday, September 21!  She will be perfect as Sue's mother.

I also see that Emma the guidance counselor has a new beau, John Stamos and Finn will mentor Sam who becomes his rival. This is going to be a great season!
