Interviews, Appearance on the show, Chats and for the first time ever.....
Current mood:  mischievous
Category: Movies, TV, Celebrities
Tomorrow I will be making an appearance on Big Brother along with Boogie, Danielle Reyes from BB3 and Janelle. So, you better watch.

Saturday I am doing a radio interview, I will post the link soon.

Sunday after the show, I will be chatting at Joker's (it is not confirmed.... yet. So check back to be certain.)

Monday I will be doing a chat for Morty's @ 5pm pacific time. This one is confirmed.
And this one will be at www.../eveldick

Tuesday I will be doing the backyard interviews "live" from the Big Brother house.
I will see about doing some pre-show talking with former Houseguests and whoever I run into there. And after the show airs on the east coast, we will be live from the backyard talking with each of the Houseguests one at a time. It's the same as you have seen me do the last couple seasons for Real Player, but with none of their bullshit edit jobs and no waiting for days for them to come out in dribs and drabs. You will see it as it happens.

And you will be able to catch the interviews 3 or 4 places. There will be widgets where you can go to the sites and watch them without leaving the site there. I think that both Morty's and Jokers we have the basic agreements down, but we are finalizing the deals this week... You will also be able to find it on the front page of Stickam. But please check back and I will confirm where, when and how in a couple days.

This should be fun this time around. And through the sites you will be able to, or I will be able to ask some of the questions that YOU want to ask them. I'll be getting lists of questions for the HG's and I will pull from them a question or two per HG. I will also be checking the boards on those sites and possibly the chats while we are live.

That's it for now....

Let me touch on this now and get it out of the way while I have your attention...

With Real Player fucking me over this season within a couple weeks of the time I normally would have started my webcast, I did what I could and scrambled to get everything together to make it happen without those assholes, But it was a bit much for me, not knowing shit about any of it besides talking shit into a mic and camera. And there is a lot involved, and it is very expensive as well....

I bit off more than I could chew and the thing took over my life for a while until I had had enough of all the idiots that work at computer superstores (Frys) selling me the wrong shit, people telling me to get the wrong shit and not really having anyone reliable
that I could depend on to get anything else done. You know the type, they cause more work than they actually get done.

So, I didn't want to put out a shit product, I had no time to work on content or guests at all, it was all devoted to computer hardware, cameras, building a set, mics, cords, tossing a computer off my balcony into the pool from the 3rd story put me behind a little, as did the broken knuckle I suffered from punching the wall out of frustration (note to self, do not punch the wall left handed anymore and take a quick look to be sure you aren't gonna hit the beam... )

A couple other things I learned from this experience with RealPlayer was not ever let a pencil pushing geek that works for a big corporation isolate you from everyone else in the company, so all your ideas are going directly to him and he is taking credit for and getting paid for them as his own.... or lead you to believe that he is really looking out for your best interest, when in fact, buffing his bosses balls are on the top of his agenda and nose. The only thing that matters is climbing the corperate ladder to the next set of balls.

So, here's a big FUCK YOU to Matt Calder, who after having phone meetings and coming to an agreement on salary, which their lawyers were supposed to write up, but mysteriously never did, and with just over 2 weeks before go day, told me that they could only pay me a third of our agreement, which was the same as the years prior.......

So, FUCK YOU MATT CALDER, here's to hoping you choke on the next set of balls you are licking.... and feel free to write and tell Matt that I am giving him the one finger salute and that he is welcome to have a seat.... and you can write him at

MCalder@Real.com

Tell him Dick sent ya....

And on a better and more interesting note.....

if you are interested at all in sending Gretchen Massey, who was the host of HouseCalls from start to finish, she is as pregnant as Julie and ready to break water any day now. Feel free to message any well wishes to me here and I will pass them along.

Do you truly believe that drivel? Seriously?Do you truly believe that I am not an intelligent person? Just because I chose to use more... colorful language, does't mean I can not hold an intelligent conversation what you consider to be the appropriate. Because that is the real issue here. That i don't use the type of language that you deem appropriate.

Sometimes, the word *fuck* is more fitting, more suited to the point and attitude of what I am trying  to convey. Sometimes the words "jerk", idiot or very bad man, do not say what I am feeling, asshole.

See how that worked?

What I think is shallow and sad, is the fact that much too many of the easily offended only see the words "fuck", "shit", "asshole" and they don't take anything from the sentences, paragraphs they form.

This is not me coming here to tear someone up. This is here so I can take the opportunity to show you that I believe everyone should be able to say anything they please, to express their feelings, thoughts and reactions, with any words they choose.

Has anyone here that read what I wrote feel as if they were deceived? Lied to? Mislead? Told half truths? Did my words cause anyone mental diress? Mental anguish? No? Well, that is a damn shame.

I wish our society would stop putting so much ridiculous weight behind what is politically correct to say. And start focusing on.... plain and simple, what is right and what is wrong. Words only have the power that the individual gives them.

Who cares how eloquently something is written or said, if it is bullshit?

Rant over.... you may tune back into your regularly scheduled program.

Well... if you really are Evel Dick, I enjoyed updating you and how you spoke in the BB house was understandable if a little uncomfortable for me to update since I don't use that word in conversation so I used smileys.  :dick   (I do hate the use of the word here on the forum because we have kids and people reading who don't appreciate the language.)

I think of all the seasons I've watched, you didn't lie, you played the game and for me, you were the consummate player to the end.

Call me undecided ED, you only used the F word twice.   :funny:  However, Welcome to RFF.

Yes, it is me....
And I did enjoy and laugh when I read LT post about how much fun you had updating me and a couple of the others.
But at the end of the thread, it just bugged how the replies focused mainly on the cussing and not the content of what I had written.
That's all, I guess I was in the mood for a good rant.
It was nothing personal to anyone here and I said that in the post, I was just speaking in general and this thread was a good example.

Anyhow, thanks for the welcome and when I find time, I will try to post here on occasion.

Actually ED, you write extremely well, I've read your blog from time to time.

I updated you every morning when you would talk to us from the patio. I vividly recall one morning,  we kept hearing siren after siren and you wondered what kind of huge accident had happened outside the walls. (So did I.)

Please do post again. I'd love to know what your opinion is of Jeff and Jordan joining The Amazing Race. Is it a good thing or not?

I really don't think you want to know what I think...
Or half this place will be asking why you let me use that kind of language here.

So, how about I tell you what I don't think?

I sure in the fuck don't think that Jeff will be able to carry her around the world.
I also don't think that anyone sleeps through the Amazing Race and finds themselves in the final 3.

(taking a line from my daughter's book)

OR DO THEY???

 :gnite:

Now, I don't want to come off shitty, because I think Jordan is a nice girl... but.....
Like I said at the end of last season, that was the worst final 3 in the show's history.

I just appreciate people who play the game, that's all.

And I am sorry, but look at the only 3 people to go from BB to TAR, do you think BB is represented well?
I think there are a lot of other people from BB who would have liked to have had that opportunity.
And there is a long list that I would have put ahead of them, right off the top of my head I would say
Chilltown, Janelle, Dan and Renny would have been hysterical. And that is with no thought what so ever.

My 2 cents, take it or leave it. It's only my opinion and it doesn't mean shit.   :poop

gosh...this brings back memories of some early AM, or should I say late Night updates from the BY!

Hi ED!! :welcome:

You can find out more about JJ if you want in the spoiler sections. ;)

Do you like crossovers between reality shows in general?

Well of course I wanted to know your opinion or I wouldn't have asked.  (Besides, we know what language you use...) :cmaslol

I agree with you about J/J when there were others who would have been a lot more interesting for me. Janelle, Dan, Will & Boogie. I'd take Rennie any day but she probably would have a difficult time with TAR but she's hilarious.

My thought is, don't cross them over from BB to TAR, the shows have separate concepts and racers/guests need different skills to compete.

Good points about BB and TAR having different concepts and racers/guests needing different skills. I think TAR is more about team dynamics and the power of minds trying to work together - whether good, bad, or indifferent...but how do people/teams work together when all goes bad or during stressful periods...do they sink or swim through it all.

I think BB can have those same concepts to a degree but BB is more about personal survivor and who can use manipulation or even good deeds and honesty to be the last person standing.

The individual challenges are way different and I can't say one show is harder then the other. Both have physical challenges but I think the mental challenges of BB are so difficult to deal with.
