Welcome jaychel! You did it right, and look forward to having you here for the season!!

The house looks cool, and the cast looks unique, won't know much about them till we see them on TV! I can't wait!!

Well, in a couple of hours I think CBS2 will have those really long interviews with them up. Hopefully they are good!!!!

Looks like a prison....

Yeah,  it's like the punishment room...whichever clique team ends up on slop sleeps in that room for a week on the floor, and it's freezing cold in there and the lights never goes off. Should be interesting to hear the losers whine for a whole week about that room.

They might as well put them in straight jackets and call the funnyfarm to come pick them up.

It's like they took a portion of Solitary 1,2 or 3  torture stages!!

I also recall an Apprentice series that the losers slept out on the rooftop in tents. hmm is AG  an origianl or are her and the producers simply out of good ideas?

I'm thinkiing whats to prevent them from sleeping in the bathroom or on the upstairs couch or even outside for that matter.  I know BB won't let them sleep in the living room, but people slept in the spa room during the day last season.   :groan:

Not looking forward to this "treatment"  I agree with Ugot, BB is trying to copy Solitary.

Ugh!   (:;) is all we are gonna hear!

:waves: queeny!! yeap they can STAY wher ever they want but they won't be able to SLEEP anywhere but in that room. they must have a penatly invovled to bypass the sleeping all over the place.. I remember in the mole that one woman was told she had to sleep outside but she stayed inside adn said " i'm not sleeping so i can stay in here!"

hmmmm i'm not liking the vibe i'm getting from this!!! (:;)

 :waves: Morning Ugot!  Happy 4th!

The other thing I think is unfair is being on slop at the same time.  It would be better if one clique was on slop and another in that room.  Both at the same time really seems too much.  I realize they signed up for it etc.. but I just don't think sleep deprivation is a good idea when you want contestants to be entertaining and play the mentle game.

I am hoping the cold and lights on part is not true.

Welcome jaychel! Glad you found us!

I like the house, especially the kitchen. No more of those ugly mismatched colored cabinets, love the stainless steel look.

LOL on that pool bedroom. I so agree, who will be the first to trip on that slide?

I'm posting the entire interview Alison did with WLBB but she explains about that third bedroom

Allison Grodner Speaks to WLBB to Straighten Out Season Surprises

WeLoveBigBrother.com spoke to Allison Grodner, Big Brother’s executive producer, Wednesday about this season’s surprises, eco-friendly house and mysterious thirteenth houseguest.

In the interview, Grodner laid out many of the season’s basics, including defining the details of this year’s high school clique twist.

“This is still, I want to stress, an individual game,” Grodner said. “But what we’ve created is a system is a system in which you want to vie to be in the in-crowd. If your group, if your clique, is in the in-crowd for the week by winning Head of Household… then it ensures your saftey for that week because you cannot nominate a member of your own clique. But ultimately… when you vote, you’re voting as an individual. So if it’s a member of your own clique and you haven’t ‘clicked,’ so to speak, you can still kick them out.”

She also explained another new change, turning the weekly food competitions into something she called ‘Have and Have Not’ competitions.

“This season we’re going to be revealing to the houseguests, instead of your traditional food competition, we have a ‘Have and Have Not’ competition,” she said. “There will be a group, that if they lose this competition, will be subject to the worse living conditions that we’ve probably had in Big Brother. That will include living in this really sparse, horribly cold, cold room. And having to take cold showers and, of course, subject to that week’s food restriction. This is like living on a block of ice in the middle of a room under bright lights that never turn off.”

As with many past seasons, Big Brother fans will able to have their voice in the house. This summer, viewers will vote on food restrictions for those named ‘have nots.’

“Starting in the second week… we’re going to put it to the vote, for the viewers to decide what the food restriction is,” she said. “Now the people on food restrictions, basically the ‘have nots,’ will of course be able to have slop and other food condiments that in the house as always. But they will add to that a food restriction that America has chosen. So that will be their main staple. Whether it be sardines, or lollipops, or chocolate, or squid, or whatever it is, we will put it out there for the viewers to suggest and vote.”

When asked about the mysterious thirteenth houseguest and whether it may involve a previous season’s houseguest, Grodner remained tight lipped.

“I think it’s a really fun twist and it will be revealed on premiere night who that thirteenth houseguest is,” she said.

Oh great.....  :groan:

I hate being cold, that sounds like the worst to me.

But interesting that HOH can't nominate someone from their own clique.

Do we have the cliques broken down yet? Some of them are obvious, but a few of the HG's seem like they could fit into more than one.

guesses??

Holy Jesus. I love the house.

That prison room's going to give a lot of people hell this season. I know for sure that I wouldn't want to sleep in there. No, Sir. Not in a million years.

Can't wait for the season to start up. It just won't be summer without it.
