Today's gonna be the start of The Amazing Race Latin Edition so if you guys have any info for the first episode please post  :casey
It will be a two-hour special beginning at 10 pm Central

really? it will be a 2 hours premiere? i thought it was only 1 hour...
I thought so too, but I checked the interactive menu on the TV and it says it will run from 10 to 12

oh yes, i know... but it will be only one hour (from 10 to 11) and from 11 to 12 will be the repetition of the 1st episode.

SPOILER Mexican Caribbean Leg SPOILER
I'm at my Blue Parrot Condo now, in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo State, Mexico. One leg of TARLA went right through our Beach Terrace Restaurant. Harris Whitbeck was here and THREE teams showed up for a detour task. I have had the waiters ID the pictures of the teams. The task (which I would have loved to perform) was for one to eat a full dish of 'Gusanos de Maguey' which are clean worms that grow inside the Maguey plant, a close relative to the Agave plant which Tequila is made from. You can get a dish of butter fried worms only at top restaurants since it is a true gourmet delicacy for about 30 to 50 US dollars. Tradition calls to put them on a soft corn tortilla with guacamole and roll them into a soft taco. Competitors had to eat the delicious fried worms directly out of the dish. A cook even showed me a cell phone video of the live worms being put on the stove for frying. Teams showed up here in this order Daniel & David, Tamara & Matias and Ferna & Fran with Tamara & Matias leaving first, then Daniel & David and then Ferna & Fran according to the waiters. They also mentioned that they had left the Blue Parrot Terrace in Playa del Carmen in the municipality of Solidaridad for nearby Xcaret Ecological Park in Calica which is the mainland portion of the municipality of Cozumel whose main part is on an island 25 miles away and is Mexico's largest inhabited one. The following video has exactly the palm-roofed terrace and beach where the task took place, it's also my front yard and you're all welcomed to come and visit: http://www.onvos.com/web/blueparrot/list_v2.php?movie=305&multivid=306,308,304,305,307,2674,2662&ctemplate=&tn=&sfh=460
One hour to go for TARLA to go on the air (cable, dish?) in Mexico's Caribbean Coast!

The all male team from Mexico is from Playa del Carmen, where I am now, and where a leg takes plaes, this may give them some advantage.
