Just searched on twitter for any info about TARLA: Brazil and this is what i got:

Quote
copiado voy a aprovechar que voy a estar en Brasil en el mes de julio en una Produccion con .Space the amazing race 2012 y las compro.

Translation
Quote
Copied, i will take advantage (idk if this is correct) that i will be on Brazil on July in a production with Space's The Amazing Race 2012 and i will buy them

He'll buy something to someone, but the most important thing is that he seems to be part of the production for our next season of TARLA!  :conf: We must be ready for next month, i hope we have lots of spoilers, same as last year.  :)

So that means either two things:

1)TARLA4 will start in Brazil

2)TARLA4 will take place only in Brazil

Hopefully is the first one. I mean, i'm willing to let go the fact that they snubbed the rest of Latin America of participating on this one, but they have to put up a great route. Some Caribbean countries would be awesome.

And the cast! Season 3 was boring with all the vanilla teams.

I hope they visit the whole continent and they eliminate the airport board, since now all the teams have a passport from the same country and no one will get an advantage from that (which was said to be one of the reasons for that thing).

Also i hope there is a villain team and lots of U-turns and Yields (that were not used by the nice teams last time). This season has to be great to gain the latin american viewers that are not interested on watching an all-Brazilian race.

Seeing the 12th leg of A Corrida Milionaria the teams didn't have any probem to get their own tickets to Santiago so hopefuly this will happen. But last season we didn't even see the board, they just released the teams from a hotel in the next destination according to the order of the last pit stop. Unfortunately i don't think we are going to see a lot of countries.

This is a twitter from one of the producers (February 18th):

Quote
la carrera sera en varios paises, pero los participantes son solo de Brasil, y el presentador tambien.

Quote
the race will be in many countries, but the contestants are only from Brazil, also the host.

That means the race won't be only on Brazil, which is really good.

but only in Latin America or will they go to 5 continents?  Hopefully they'll go to Europe, Africa, Asia and North America as well. :'(

I dont know if this sounds stupid but I want to ask if they could go outside of Latin America this time for the final leg? Like going to a near country like USA,Canada or even New Zealand or South Africa
Mexican teens love The Amazing Race too :D

Of course they could, but i don't think they would. I think they'll stay on Latin America again this time, but i would love a visit to Canada (since it's easier to get the traveling documents, unlike USA).

A visit to atleast one other continent would be great! But they are probably staying in Latin America.  : :(

Well the article says they will be travelling around diferent cities in Brazil, so i think it will be like Corrida. If that's the case this is more like TAR Brazil instead a 4th season of TARLA.

- There will be 24 contestants (12 teams)

- The race will be around different brazilian cities.

- The prize is 250.000 brazilian reais

- The show is called The Amazing Race - Versão Brasil

Other sources say various countries, 250.000 DOLLARS (250.000 reales is US$122.700, half the normal prize) and eleven teams... so we better wait. This version is getting extremely low budget.

If this season travels only on Brazil (not like A Corrida that atleast visited Chile), i will seriously think if i am going to watch it or not. (same thing that happened with Vietnam and will happen with Philippines).i

So it's pretty much a new version of the race and it's solely in Brazil? I like A Corrida Milionaria, so I'll give this one a shot. Will this be made by the same people and on the same channel?

Yup, same people and channel. This will be basically Space's A Corrida Milionaria. I will watch it too, but i am really dissapointed with the poor prize and the fact that they're travelling only on Brazil. BTW, i loooved A Corrida Milionaria!
