It seems to me that a lot of people have been posting links advertising events that are somehow (however distantly) related to Reality TV on the boards.

I was just wondering if these people are paying to be able to advertise here, because I'm sure we can all agree that the extra money would really help keep the forums going.

Posting a link to an off-site game that you don't have to pay for is one thing, but posting a link to an event with an entrance fee? Lines have most certainly been crossed.

Coutzy: I'm not sure where the posts are but I never like seeing what amounts to an ad for another site either. If you think it crosses the line, report it using the Report to Moderator button.

Some are simply spam Coutzy that are deleted asap when they are seen.

I certainly have posted links to charitable reality events when I think they are worthwhile or of particular interest, entrance fee or not.

In any case, any advertising decisions would be really up to the admins, they do a great job sorting this out.
