I'll say Terence. He has a tendencey to over react to things.

Unfortunately, that's true -- Terence definitely overreacts so he might well think that his nose is on fire when it isn't.

Not sure WHO--but I'll bet this is WHY... Production were all wearing bandanas over their noses.

I think that's it. India is now claiming the world's hottest chili, but the peppers in the photo are too skinny for a Naga Jolokia: it looks like ordinary cayenne. From the article: "Our workers wear goggles, face masks, head cover and protective clothing," says Ananta Saikia, whose firm is the pepper's sole exporter. "They look like astronauts."

I think I've found a better address for our buddy Radhey Shiam Balkishan here. Gadodia market is here, just south of the main drag Khari Baoli (video and map here).

Great work Slowhatch. Your location matches Matt's shot of the market:

Belle Book: That would be fine if it were an option. However, teams have to choose one team member to do each roadblock before they know exactly what it is. They typically get only very general and sometimes misleading information to help them decide who it will be. Of course they have to operate within the principle of about a 50/50 split of roadblocks between the team members.
So in this situation as applied to you, you would only know too late that it is comething you hate. I happen to think that raodblock rules and standards, particularly when there is a mismatch, leads to some of the best scenes on Amazing Races.

True -- any mismatches do lead to great scenes for the viewers -- just not for the teams doing it! Belle Book

Next on The Amazing Race: My Nose Is On Fire *One racer conducts an overly-thorough, squirm-inducing search for a clue in a bird's home. *A strict Indian shopkeeper leaves one team teary eyed with a crushing Detour. *A colorful Roadblock is no party for one racer when they face plant into the ground *and two unlikely teams join forces to crack a Detour that confounds teams who work alone.

A strict Indian shopkeeper leaves one team teary eyed with a crushing Detour. This was when they grind up the red spice. Matt's shots are from the morning of the next day (May 7th) after the first India leg ends.
