i'd also like to add this from www.ctv.ca- In a haste to avoid elimination, one team leaves behind something very important. And a team takes a huge risk only to find they can't stomach the meat from a sheep's rear. Perhaps the thing left behind is the Golden Egg which teams were supposed to carry with them to the pit stop. In past TARs teams have located something and had to carry it with them to the end. Bingo! I so bet you are exactly right here!

Do we know people loose a passport in this leg or the next. Because that sounds more like the blunder that costs a team from finishing the final leg.
Everyone is assuming from this clue "in a haste to avoid elimination, one team leaves behind something very important" that it is this leg. For all we know its the golden egg or something. The unprecedented mistake thread is here if you all want to make a guess whatever there.

Interesting how we get caught up in one lead and do not always think of the other possibilities.
Eggs today, passports next week?!?!?!

You may be right in thinking that the golden egg was left behind. Anyway, we'll find out tonight.

There are a couple of puppet theaters in Almaty: one public, one private. I'm guessing the one they used is right across the street from Panfilov park.

okay so if one team is supposed to not finish the race because they constantly make stupid mistakes, than its Dan & Andrew, and why else would they not finish the race. I'm guessing they lose their passports!
Boot List: 1. Toni & Dallas 2. Nick & Starr 3. Dan & Andrew 4. Ken & Tina 5. Terrence & Sarah 6. Kelly & Christy 7. Aja & Ty 8. Marissa & Brooke 9. Mark & Bill 10. Anthony & Stephanie 11. Anita & Arthur
I am almost 99% certain that the winners will be Nick & Starr or Toni & Dallas. However, in the interview with Nick at Pittock Mansion, i noticed no significat happiness when talking about dallas and starr. I will assume Toni & Dallas take it as of now. But Nick & Starr still have a chance at winning

I don't think theres any way Nick and Starr can lose this race.

I don't think theres any way Nick and Starr can lose this race. puddin, how many Amazing Race finales have been won by teams who shouldn't have won them? Zach/Flo, Chip/Kim, Freddie/Kendra, Uchenna/Joyce, Eric/Danielle are all in that category to my way of classifying. Nick/Starr have to be considered favorites, but nobody ever has a lock on an Amazing Race finale. World Race Productions works too hard to put in random elements in the finale which give every F3 team a legitimate shot.

Sure there is. Toni and Dallas lose their passports. Dandrew lands in Maine, Ken and Tina, being the only other team to have a first place, barely beat out Nick and Starr in Portland. But yeah, it's looking a lot like Nick and Starr win.

I'm glad we got to see our marionettes for a second, anyway!
DIdn't that second detour sound as though it would take MUCH longer? No wonder no one chose it, lol...

Aha! I wondered what those little things (next to the dombira) in the introcap were: shankobyz (bottom of page)/ shan kobyz. I agree with the others: the cow-walk was the best choice.

I think any of the teams left, accept Dandrew (who were funny tonight, not that they aren't deserving they are just so damn lucky!) deserve to win. Gotta love Dallas and moms upbeat attitude! And I'm a huge fan of Ken and Tina, I would not count them out yet for the final 3 (keeping my hopes up here).
