Too bad for Anthony & Stephanie, but we didn't get to know much about them.

Kelly/Christy at long last find THEIR taxi. He wasn't far away.
Anthony, Marisa, and one of the Frats still struggling at the wall, fighting it out for last. Frat gets it right. Anthony figures out the method is to copy everything and read it all. Too late; Marisa's done. Anthony begins reading, slowly.
Phil: Nick, Starr, you're team #6. Phil: Kelly/Christy, you're team #7. Phil: Andrew/Dan, you're team #8. Marissa/Brooke, that makes you team #9. You're still in the Race.
Man: Welcome to Fortaleza. Phil: Anthony/Stephanie, you're the last team to arrive. I'm sorry to tell you you've both been eliminated from the Race. S: We gave it our best shot. Great experience. We'll never forget it. S conf: Hopefully financially we'll get back on track. A conf: I have my health, parents, my looks and I have Stephanie.

Well, so much for my theory that Marissa & Brooke would be eliminated. Too bad Anthony & Stephanie were eliminated, but it seems they had all kinds of problems. At least Kelly & Christy are still in the race. Hopefully, things can only get better for them. Belle Book

Next week, altitude sickness takes over the racers (La Paz) and Ken impresses his wife (women wrestlers). Two spoilers. Check and Check.

No they put the preview up, the ones we youtubed last week .. but it took them a few days to do so, maybe they will be on the ball this week. Ya know I predicted Ken/Tina first, The Geeks second and the elim. Sorry Steph and Anthony!!

Well, Ken & Tina will definitely be safe. If the title of Episode 4 is any indication, Marissa & Brooke will probably also be safe -- this leg. I think Aja & Ty have a few legs left in them. That leaves Mark & Bill. I can sure see them going downhill in this leg, which would be a sad thing. As long as Kelly & Christy rebound from their bad showing this leg, I'll be happy.

i guess i'm one of the few westcoasters on this board - so will never be able to participate live in this discussion well, the divorcees were hilarious this episode ! not in a good racing way.. they just keep digging and digging for the container when about half dozen teams went right by them?? and they were excellent at the wall (tina only got it by watching bill) but then were frantically running around for their cab?? ohmigosh ohmigosh we were supposed to keep 'em. and when they finally realized it was still in the lot.. i think they are good racers, hopefully they learnt to read the clues carefully - it's nice when you screw up not reading a clue and don't get philled.. twice! who did everybody like best in this episode? for me : mark and bill - this involves a computer? We've GOT to do this! the divorcees - see above the blondes (for showing some spunk) ken and tina - ken for planting that smooch on terence!! toni and dallas - for stopping to tell t & s about the cabs sarah - i love this woman though i have no idea why she puts up with terence - hard to believe that's a real relationship and not made up for this race!

Anthony/Stephanie are still languishing behind in a cab. Extensive confessionals between them, usually not a good sign in the editing.
I just went back and read this. mswood, you are good. dead on!

There must have been a trick to get to right answer, but it escaped everyone, so the easiest way to solve the problem was just to write everything down and read it back to the painter. Phil did hint that the way to solve the problem was to ape the locals and just lay back and relax. But there must have been a way to solve it without having to write it all down. Any ideas

Gman, no trick was possible. This was a random trial, effectively equivalent to the "needle in haystack" Roadblock that eliminated lena and Kristy in AR6. All of the people doing this Roadblock have to guess which item is the correct place name. Guessing repetitively and quickly was the winning srategy. Now the above applies to people who are not fluent in Portuguese, which I believe Sarah was. However, wasn't Terence the one selected to do this Roadblock?
If you were fluent in Portuguese, it would be easy to isolate the few items on the list of 11 which were place names. Then you would repetitively cite a shorter list to the painter.

Nope Sarah did it...remember how Nick brushed her off?
This was not my favorite task (except I LOVED Nivaldo, lol)--not very exciting for us to watch and not exactly a "most insane" challenge for the racers either...
I would rather have seen them have to find a place based on a pic or an obscure clue, I think.

IA peach -- usually the first couple of legs the tasks aren't so great for me. I always love it so much more when it gets down to around 8 teams.
