Don't forget we have the dreaded U-Turn near the bike option which sounds like a detour to me.......

*ok, fun tidbits now! The day we took possession of our apartment we were crossing the park in front of our building and noticed a lot of people and some really weird all wood bicycles.
*I noticed a lot of the people around them looked like the rich gortex-wearing tourist we see and/or the Discovery Channel crew that worked with us last year.
*Then I noticed it: a yellow signed that said "U-Turn" with a yellow and red flag on it... It was The Amazing Race!!!!!
*They were in Plaza Abaroa (sometime called Plaza Avaroa), in the neighborhood of Sopocachi. From our apartment, we also noticed a lot of commotions and big tv lighting in the parc of the Monticulo, near Plaza Espana.
*I am like 80% sure the sign said U-Turn but as soon as I shouted "Oh my god it's the Amazing Race" some of the workers covered the sign. I know it wasn't one of those thing where you can put the picture of another team.
*So just a big yellow sign with the flag beneath it. What else... The bikes were similar to the ones on the picture you sent but less shabby looking. And they were next to wooden head gear with lots of feathers on it. I didn't see any teams. Oh, but also, there were lots of brass bands typical of Bolivia. I'm not sure why they were there.

OK so I was laying in bed last night and was thinking, yeah thats my problem, anyway.......its also possible that perhaps the blonds are eliminated in EP3 and this is another team making light of it as they leave the pitstop in La Paz "I Wonder If They Like Blondes in New Zealand?".

Anybody have some good U turn box shots? I can double check this with them pretty quickly if you want...

The U-turn boxes I remember DO have the place for the picture and she doesn't think what she saw did, so U turn might be a little iffy. But we have a way to ask again if needed.

I had the same nasty thought,    but at this point I can't stand the thought of any of "our" guys going to Acapulco....

Did anyone mention that Phil arrived in La Paz on Sunday 5/25 and the U-Turn set up was witnessed on the 28th, so Fortaleza was a obvious extended pitstop.

The Cholita wrestling takes place at El Multifuncional also known as "El Multi"  located in the neighborhood of La Ceja..

It is seen here, right at the edge of the cliff overlooking La Paz.

omgosh...I think I just died laughing! Funniest thing ever!

I would agree with that. Phil and Barry fighting the cholitas is great comedy. I am going to guess that no AR13 participant, not even Ken, can win against a cholita unless the cholita is throwing the match(which I expect all are expected to do to allow the individuals fighting to be able to finish and leave).

Puddin, I think you are right about the u-turn clue because I don't see C/K u-turning Nick/Starr because we know Nick and Starr aren't eliminated in this leg... Unless Nick/Star do get u-turned but still are so far ahead that they avoid being eliminated?
